How to decard a G1 pony?
« on: October 14, 2012, 12:48:09 PM »
Hello,
Has anyone successfully decarded a pony without damaging the art?

I was wondering if I should apply heat to the bubble to loosen the glue?

Any ideas?

I'm off to practice on a sacrificial fakie :)

Are you talking about the new G4 bubbles?  or maybe some of the G3 ones they used for certain stores?  Back when Thoth was young I would open the ones she wanted open with an extco and carefully cut the bubble off.

If it is G1 or G2 you might see if someone can trade you a mint loose one if they are looking for it MOC as they are getting harder to find.
