T-shirt pony art!! Help!!

I plan on painting Moondancer and Pinkie Pie on two separate plain white and blue t-shirts, but have never done it before any suggestions?? :(

I use a more expensive paint then the type you snag at the craft stores.  If you have only that, take a plate and squirt out some and use a brush to do thin layers.  Too thick and it will crack and just be a PITA.  Also if you have some clips to stretch the shirt tight onto a large piece of cardboard that will help.  Lastly put some paper towel with wax paper under it under where you want to paint.  Slip it out once done but this way you adsorb any extra paint and your shirt does not stick to the cardboard while it drys.
