What have you gotten recently?

Either a purchase or a gift or a cold. What's a new thing you have?

I bought a Twinings Tea variety box of 45 different teas. I gotta say. I don't have the palate to tell the difference between all the "___" Tea. English breakfast, Irish breakfast, Prince of Wales, Earl Grey. It all tastes the same to me I like spicy and smoky teas like chai and Lapsang Souchong which are in the box too. There's also a bunch of yummy sounding herbal teas.

Chai Tea is so good

I finally gave in and bought a mechanical keyboard. i'm tired of the mac keyboard and since the company issued laptops have a small screen i need to use an external monitor and external keyboard. it lights up which should be helpful because my office doesn't have much room. for lamps and i hate overhead lighting. it hasn't arrived yet but i'm excited to see how it works.

update: my new keyboard came and i like it. it's easier to type and it kind of reminds me of a typewriter but nicer. if that makes sense.

I recently bought a copy of Shadow the Hedgehog for PS2... only to realize that my PS2 memory cards are missing. X( I ordered a new one, so now I'm just waiting for it to come in.

I recently got the Youtooz Glamrock Roxy figure. I don't see much merch for Security Breach compared to the other games, and I already have the Blacklight Roxy plushie so I wanted to get this cute figure. I quite liked what they did with the half-pixellated Purple Guy but not enough to get him lol

I splurged and got a figure from an infamously terrible comic series, because as stupid and horrible as it is, I still like some of the designs and there are some plot threads that could have been REALLY cool if the artist/author wasn't so into drawing weird cheesecake. I wanted the sister figure when it was advertised in PreviewsWorld but never ordered, so I decided to take the plunge with this one. There's a Convention exclusive White version of the original sculpt I might get in the future, but I think priority would be getting the other.

How exciting with a tea box! I buy a tea caldendar every year around christmas and it's so exciting trying all the new flavours. This year they had green roibos! I didn't even know it existed. I don't like Lapsang Souchong (too much smoke) and Chai goes down a cup or two with milk but it's noting I would buy. Love any kind of lemon flavorued tea though .


I bought all the Midsummer Murder books by Caroline Graham. I've been following the TV-show since I was a teen and have probably seen each episode a hundred times or more, lol. It's a constant rerun on channel 8 every Saturday and Sunday and has been for the past decade or so. I decided two weeks ago that I should go back to the original source so i got them all. They've not arrived yet, probably monday accoring to tracking.

Cuuute!  The hats are a nice touch.

My niece gave me a big plush sparkly unicorn and framed puzzle she put together.  Both were a huge surprise.  I love it.  She is in college now so I miss her tons.

That's funny, I'm not fond of lemon I do like lemon and ginger herbal tea though. That's good for allergies.
