That sounds exciting! Just a heads up that Discord doesn't work well for image hosting anymore and the images are no longer visible, but I'm sure they're some good gets!

I have also not been buying ponies much in recent years, but I've started checking ebay to check prices since I began selling again and WOW, yeah, prices are through the roof while photos are abysmal, descriptions are nonexistant, and conditions are questionable. Everyone seems to think they are sitting on a gold mine with their dirty, wild-haired common ponies. I'm glad I already bought most of the ponies I wanted years ago, but it makes me feel a bit hopeless about ever getting the ones I'd still like to have (of course I was waiting on buying some of the more sought-after ones which have now become ludicrously expensive... sigh). Kinda takes some of the fun out of collecting when the prices have gone from "little treat for myself" to "serious purchase to think hard about first."
Definitely where I land. I have a lot of the common ponies you'd find for cheap in lots (and a lot of Lots are much higher priced than they were beforehand) and at this point only do serious splurges (which are few between because price AND because of space) or accumulating them at thrifts.

Can I use cloud storage like MS OneDrive or iCloud drive links? I tried one but it didn't work so I don't know if it's that OneDrive doesn't work with this or that I didn't code it right.
You would need direct image links. As long as you can get the links that end in .png or .jpg, you should be able to use them. The links to the drives themselves would not work.

Got it! I just removed that part of the sentence. Oh, Europe, your pony releases really are somethin'....

I've updated the European CJ section to hopefully reflect this information, I'll make a note to check on the LS page and update that as well...let me know if there's any errors that remain!

Brazil imports prohibit "used consumer goods". That could possibly be extended to an opened toy? It seems very vague.

That's incredibly sad to hear, condolences and wishes for peaceful rest.

I have faded pen marks off a Port-o-bella, but her plastic was visually more yellow where she was exposed to the sun. It works, but it's up to you if that slight difference is worth it or not. You could also just expose everything except the symbol so it's a more even color.

Hasbro's financial statements have been released. Needless to say it's bad: Q4 operating loss of $1.2 billion (in comparison: Mattel reported net sales of $1.6 billion for Q4).
While they go over some brands that performed well - like Transformers, Monopoly, Magic, Furby - there isn't a single word about MLP.
Overall, they're coming off a year of losses and seem to remain focused on "monetizing Hasbro IP in an asset-light structure", meaning less product creation by Hasbro itself and more focused on monetizing their brands through third parties (merch, I assume?).
"We're exiting 2023 with our retail inventory down around 20%. While we think Hasbro's retail inventory is in a healthy position, across the industry a lot of older discounted inventory still remains in the market." Basically this means their stuff is collecting dust on the shelves and stores' warehouses.
Whatever money MLP brings in, it must be peanuts.
Love reading the financial statements. The part I bolded makes me think about basic fun and LPS, where they seem to want to license out their brands to other companies to produce toys for. I swear I remember hearing something about wanting to be more of an IP farm but I can't remember where I've seen that.

Typical growing up stuff, I think. She posted in a thread a hot minute ago after people were reminiscing about the comic!

I'm thrifting it on the spot if I see it in like a year or so. I can't imagine this is what kids want, though.

AliExpress is a big congregation for all sorts of sellers. Some legit factory seconds are on there at times, but your best bet is always going to be checking the reviews to see. I wouldn't be surprised if any of the statues are counterfeits.

It's been like this for a while. A shame because I was hoping G5 would have reinvigorated the brand but toys seem to be very secondary now.

Actually, nothing pony related this year! I've fallen out of love with G5 and I need to go hunting for the minis, but I didn't ask for any ponies in particular while my collection is getting organized... I did get a Zaykutie for the first time, though! visitors can't see pics , please register or login
