Hi All!  I don't know about you, but I'm really really bad at taking work in progress pix.  I usually get started and then totally forget to take photos until I'm done.  So, I've managed to remember on these three.  Stay tuned for more photos as I progress :)

Off to a good start! Love gradients for these poses.

The base you have them propped on is interesting. Is that something that came with airbrushing supplies? It looks handy!

The Orange/Purple Sea Pony is a commission but the other (Yellow/Orange) Sea Pony and the Bride pony will be posted For Sale once I complete them. :)

Yep :)  I'm rooting her today. Her hair has been dyed using "Starlight" as the base, the transitions are a pretty redish pink transitioning to gray then black.  :)

THey all look lovely! I love the bouncy looking curls in their hair. Are they really as bouncy as the pics make them out to be?

One more SEA PONY almost finished.  I just need to perm and pin her hair and she'll be ready to go.  Her name is Abalone and she's probably my favorite of the three :)

Loving the shells as well - for some reason I hadn't been looking at the repro shells with the idea of customising them, and I'm think it's an awesome idea! :D

I was so sure I had already posted in this thread, but apparently I remembered incorrectly.  These are absolutely astonishing customs, Darkhorse!  I'm not usually a fan of custom ponies, probably because I've seen so many lesser quality ones over the years that I'd been left constantly underwhelmed by the ones I'd encountered.  But yours have completely changed my views on customs!  Your eye for detail and use of colour and sculpting details and delicate airbrushing produce the most beautiful creatures.  Are your designs henna/mehendi inspired?  Especially love the dapples on Abalone, that seapony is simply stunning!  You've inspired me  :D

Thank you so much for the compliment.  The henna ponies are some of my favorite to create due to the delicate designs and I also was on a little bit of an "Indian" inspired kick due to reading the entire "Tiger's Curse" series. :)  I try to give my customs a second lease on life especially those that were a little worse for wear to begin with, I really try "NOT" to customize any G1 or rare pony that is in good condition because I know how the pony purists would feel about that :)
