*update* Gypsy Vanner Replica

Been working on this for a couple weeks...

I started seeing posts on my facebook feed about this breed of horse, and I instantly fell in love with them....
Then, I heard about the first USA registered Gypsy Vanner passing here recently in July, so I decided to make a custom of the horse to send to the farm as a condolence....

Thank you. I can tell you that the feathering on the legs was a pain in the rear, the bent leg made it very difficult to put hair plugs in let alone the hair...

Did you say hair plugs? Oh my gosh! Those ARE hair plugs! I thought it was sculpted! I wondered why you'd sculpted a ribbon around each hoof. That'll teach me to pay better attention!

lol, yea I was using rubber bands to hold the doll hair feathering down to mold them to the way I wanted them to look.

Thank you. Lol, yeah it took a while. I am pretty good about repetitive tasks, but I had to put it off for a few days at a time since it got really frustrating on the bent leg....

lol, yea I was using rubber bands to hold the doll hair feathering down to mold them to the way I wanted them to look.

I thought the same thing! I had to look twice and still thought they were molded in the pic.   

But seriously, you did an amazing job! I never would've thought to add rooted nylon feathering to their legs! Would love to see a pic without the bands on them when they're done. You did a great job and it was a very thoughtful gesture!

Yeah, I sent the pony out and left the bands on for the shipping. I have been talking with the gal who runs their fb page and she said she would take a picture once they get it in. So I will update then
