Maybe it was Diamond Mint? The liquid inside could have been why.

Artist here, AI has become terrifying. I was planning on going to an animation/fine arts school and now, I don't know if it is worth it. AI is awfully easy for ANYONE to use, and I am fearful that people will use Sora to make fake videos for evidence in court. Just horrifying...

Pony Corral / Re: Is this pony a prototype?

I don't really see how a packaged pony could be a prototype. Seems odd, no? Most prototype ponies I have seen have been packaged in just a plastic bag.

Definitely just European packaging. If the seller charged for a prototype pony I would ask for a partial refund.

I think that probably AI art has developed beyond where people are ready to manage it or set limits, work out credits, etc. It's a complicated minefield.

I'm not an artist, but I as someone who writes a lot, I won't pretend that I'm positive about people using AI to write stories or articles.  I don't know if it is the same or different as with pictures, though. :/

My biggest fear around AI is that it actually isn't AI but computer learning, and what it's learning from is often an internet full of division, hate and stereotypes. There have been some worrying creations from AI when given certain prompts about certain groups...until we have an actual interface capable of learning and judging independently from what humans put out, I feel like it's a pretty risky thing to be relying on. I'm also worried about how it is used in video to create deepfakes.

But that is a bit different from AI art as well.

I just think that probably needs wider discourse about how it's used/what credit systems exist/how it can be managed. All art and creative stuff has inspiration in something else, whether it's a walk in nature, or an experience, or a person...or whatever. It's just working out how to manage that line to keep it to inspiration...I guess?

Very. Very. Complicated.

Trader & Shipping Support / Returned package from Brazil
« Last post by Barnacle_lady on Today at 04:11:09 AM »
I want to know if more people have the same experience or maybe I missed something.

End of January I shipped a pony package with track & trace to Brazil. Buyer was fully aware that it could take some time to arrive. And also got the track & trace from me to follow the package. Post office also agreed I filled in address and customs form correctly. So the waiting game and follow the package could begin.
Beginning of February the t&t was "item is at customs" in Brazil. Ok, let them check whatever they want to check.
Yesterday I saw at the t&t site that package could not be delivered and is being returned to me. So now I have to wait until it comes back to me. And we really don't have a clue why. Buyer doesn't want the money back, even offered shipping again.Well let's then wait until the box arrives and then decide how to solve this.
Ponies,1 plush, squishy pops and loose blind bag ponies are all G4 with the only sort of special the Guardians of Harmony Spitfire & Soarin with that flying thing and Diamond Mint with liquid in it. Everything else just common, low value. Stickers and cards as extra's. Luckily I made pictures of the box and addres/custom label.

@Gaspode Is this price still subject to at least 3 - 4 Pounds shipping?
