That giddy feeling......

I've recently begun actively collecting again after taking a break to have a baby.  He's 18 months now and I've rediscovered my love of ponies!  I used to have a pony room but I had to give it up so the baby would have a place to sleep:)  I have a very large collection that is currently living in totes waiting for my hubby to build me a room.  I was cruising ebay a few nights ago and I stumbled upon something that I have been looking for for a very long time....Strawberry Scoops ice cream sundae!  Of course I scooped it up and anxiously rushed home each day to check the mailbox until it arrived. 

Don't you just love that feeling when you find a piece for your collection that you have been searching for?  I get so giddy, like a kid on Christmas morning:).....now if I could just track down the Rockin' Beat Guitar brushes....

I feel the same way when I get a new pony in the mail. I also know how it is when I forgo ed my pony room and gave the room to my daughter. I have a pony living room now which I need to post pictures of. ><;
I also forgot to add swap boxes are great too for that feeling.

I get ridiculously excited over thrift store ponies, no matter how awful and absolutely manky they are.  I bounce all over, taking before and after pictures.  I used to feel that way about Ebay packages, I can totally understand.    Now I stalk the mailbox when I have trades.

Well I'm glad I'm not alone!!!  I'm stalking the mailbox right now waiting for a package .  I've thought about letting my ponies take over a different part of the house but my three little boys wouldn't leave my collection alone and that would drive me insane!  As my hubby says, the ponies are MUCH safer in their totes :big grin:.

Ohhhh yes.... I've lost count of how many times I've lost out on auctions for Sweet Clover. I got her just a couple of weeks back from a lovely seller here, and finally having her in my hands.... ahhhhhhh....    The pony is even more beautiful in person.

Oh yes ! I get that feeling every single time I buy a pony xD But more even if the pony is one I've wanted since ever It is about to happen again (I just got Rollerskate Melody the other day and it might arrive tomorrow).

you should see me when i find ponys items..    i bounce around and sqee  in the store. apperntly i'm an embarsement    i know when i  found  honeybuzz  at  familey dollar hidden away i bounced up and down.  and hten i sqeed as i found   everyone else except lilly blossom.  but hwen i'ma t the flea market  i just  pick them up and try ntot to show too  much enthusiam.  but i cantt help  but sqee a little.  or make happy random noises.    othertimes i just grab it and hug it to me.. depending on what it is.

i know when my nursry and  dram castle came in i sqeed and just stared and i was bemaing and happy.  so yes whener i foudn them i get very happy.

Lol I got sweet sister Dainty today in the mail and I was jumping for joy and going crazy. Hehe. I love the feeling when I get new ponies!

Oh my goodness yes I know that feeling....whether it be the combs for the Colorswirls or the bows for the Great Hair ponies or the ribbon and dice for Baby Blue Ribbon or Baby Diamonds necklace, I have literally screamed and *happy danced* all around my house several times when I find something [thanks to some awesome Arena members] items which I truly never thought to find.

Yeppers!  I got a blindbag from a coworker (kind of a RAOPK when I was going through all the stuff with my son's teeth), and when she handed it to me, I bounced up and down like a kid on a pogo stick.   My son would like to add that I regularly act crazy-happy in the thrift shop when I strike pony, and when I get ponies by post, and generally whenever there's a pony in the equation.  It's a good thing, according to him.  Thank goodness!
