I have the standard Pinkie Pie and the deluxe jointed Fluttershy.  I greatly prefer the jointed doll.  Fluttershy has been standing on my desk for several days now without falling over and I haven't had any problems with her joints being loose.

I hope they come out with deluxe versions of all the dolls.  I don't know of this has been found before, but it does look like there will be a deluxe Rarity: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhCtkEeRnsE   :newpony:

I'm having the same issue.  I ordered a Pinkie and Dr Whooves in July.  Dr Whooves arrived last month.  Hot Topic took the money out of my account for Pinkie on August 7 and I still haven't received a shipping notification. 

I think I'm going to try calling them tonight.  They shouldn't be taking money unless they are actually shipping the ponies.  :enraged:

The thing that bothers me is they don't give you enough gems.  I hate the empty holes in dress, bathtub, etc.

She was my first G3.  I really like her theme.  I wish they made more elemental ponies.

Customs / Custom G3 Ponyville Rarity

I just finished my first custom! 

It seems that the g3 ponyville figures only had one unicorn, Sweetie Belle.  No offense to Sweetie Belle, but that's pretty boring. 

Somehow, I ended up with several Sweetie Belle figures, including one that looked like someone's dog slightly chewed on.  I smoothed out the plastic on the chewed on figure as best as I could with a crafting knife and decided to repaint "Chewie Belle" to look like G3 Rarity.

It's no wonder that she is not a very confident flyer.  All those extra legs would have to get in her way....plus the stress of having to constantly hide them from her friends.  This is why you don't become friends with Discord, Fluttershy.

Pony Brag Arena / Found a My Pretty Pony!

I went to a flea market this weekend hoping to find some ponies.  I didn't find any, however on the way out I spotted what looked like a really big pony.  I bought her for $4.  When I got home, I looked her up and it turns out she's a My Pretty Pony from 1981.

She was in pretty sad shape with a cut tail and covered in scuff marks.  I've never seen worse matted hair before.

Here's the condition she was when I bought her:

Magic Eraser got rid of the scuff marks.  Her hair took so long to detangle! 

Her mechanism doesn't work to blink her eyes or move her ears or tail.  I don't want to risk breaking her to try open her for repairs, but I'm happy how she turned out.    :biggrin:

The only mail order pony I remember getting is Baby Stockings from Rice Krispies cereal.  Of course they put the order form and points on the biggest boxes of cereal.  I got so sick of eating Rice Krispies and my parents wouldn't buy a different cereal until I ate the ones I had.   :P
