sold: Macau show stable :)

today i got a lot including the GERMAN (austrian) my little pony show stable in original packaging. i already have the GERMAN show stable, called "Pony Haus" from my childhood collection PLUS the original packaging. now there are lots of differences between this one (which is too from austria, i got it from a co worker of mine who said its her childhood collection). My childhood Pony Haus had Lemondrop NO COUNTRY in it. THIS Show Stable has ITALY Lemondrop in it! how odd is that - both were bought in austria.


Here are the covers of the boxes with circles around the differences. also the first packaging says "zitrönchen" enthalten, "Mandy" und "Schleifchen" nicht enthalten -- which translates to "Lemondrop" included, "Mandy" (who is mandy? is it peachy?) and "Bow Tie" not included


and the 2nd package says (the one i got from my co worker which says "show stable" on the house instead of "pony haus"): "Nelly" enthalten, "Mandy" und "Belly" sind nicht enthalten - ARE THESE MACAU NAMES???


AND: how many show stable country variants are there? i know the english one "show stable", the german one "pony haus" and the italian one (my dream ) "stelle di stella" (or something like this)

In France it was called "Ecurie Merveilleuse" for Show Stable.

Belly is Macau Bluebelle. I haven't heard of a pony called Mandy before. Could it be an alternate name for Brandy the dog?

Edit to add: Arxon logo is also on the card of my MOC Macau Jenny.

so maybe its a strange macau/german version? the dog is brandy and its included i think they mean peachy as she is also shown on the box?!

Do you have the name tags? So perhaps there you will see who is Mandy(haven't heard of this)

according to the cards which came with the german "macau" version of the grooming pretty parlour the ponies are called as followed

cotton candy ~ candy
snuzzle ~ rosy
peachy ~ nelly
lemondrop ~ folly
minty ~ minky
blossom ~ bonny
butterscotch ~ jenny (it has the butterscotch symbols on the card!)
bluebell ~ belly

i have not heard of mandy before though!

so is it possible that the second show stable came with macau PEACHY??

the seller from whom i got the stable told me that she already sold lots of her childhood ponies on a flea market. maybe macau peachy was sold there also.

I wouldn't rule it out, but it's always possible that they got the information wrong on the box, as that happens sometimes. My childhood baby Cuddles box says on it, "Baby Cuddles and accessories made in Spain," but her hoof mark says China.

I was really lucky to get a display-only Greek Show Stable.  There's one on Ebay now too.

Macau ponies were made by the company Arxon. But that doesn't necessarily mean your stable was sold with a Macau LD (but it's very likely). I once got a dutch stable with a macau LD.

There's a Dutch show stable; Show Stal, a Brazillian one; Poneilandia, Argentine; Establo (which was like the regular or pink!), Spanish; Establo Residencia, Mexican: Establo de Exhibicion, Peruvian; Establo?

I just got the Macau Parlor from Shelti and my name cards the same too, box says includes Folly, but Folly's tag has lemondrops symbols, and Nelly's has Peachy's.

I am loving your Show Stable, Arxon made the Macau ponies for a short time that were released in Germany and a few in small German speaking areas.

Last year on the tour Hasbro said all packaging, no matter what country was made right there in RI, ever notice that same little girl on all the parlor boxes! My Macau Parlor says 1984 Pawtuket, RI on it, same as my UK Parlor. Maybe they were left overs they decided to make new stickers for the different countries?

i have put that odd stable on ebay, because of the lack of space my BF said if i wanna keep it i would have to sell the amount of ponies which the house takes space (does that make sense`?)

so i chose ponies before the stable!

I have had two of the Macau German Show stables, neither of which came with a lemondrop,
both had Macau Peachy in them (the used one bought from a member here was her Childhood stable, the one Gypsy has)and one was brand new Old  toy stock (which Ashlyn owns).
This subject was also discussed at the Old Arena in a Thread and it was believed that it is a miss print on the box
