Who is your favourite (g1) dragon?

hello everyone,

Like the poll says, I'm interested to see who your favourite dragon is. I have regular Spike in my collection and Smokey coming my way.

That's why I thought I'd bring some attention to these lovely dragons My favourite is Spiny, the light purple one Everyone gets to vote twice because their are so many options.

Fiery was my favourite growing up, because my favourite princess was Pearl and I loved their dynamic. But I had Smokey and Sapphire as a kid, and Smokey was also cute as a character. So I chose them.

I was never big on Spike. He appeared in the comic a lot and that was fine but I much preferred the dragons.

They do all have distinctive personalities which helps Spiny is a little clumsy but means well.

Honestly, I know nothing about the dragons except G4 Spike.

I do like the red one though

Fiery! It's my only dragon and it sits next to Princess Tiffany in my collection.

I wanted to say Spike or mail order Spike, but I really love Prickles color haha. I don't know the comics but, I'm sure they're all interesting characters.

The princesses and dragons all had proper personalities in the comic (as opposed to the animation). I'm trying to remember because I don't have my factfile in front of me but it's something like this...

Princess Pearl - sensitive, liked painting, cried wishing pearls when happy, beloved by the baby ponies.
Fiery - strong and forthright, protective of his princess

Princess Aquamarine - a daydreamer, often got distracted by being in her own world
Prickles - down to earth and trying to keep his princess's hooves on the ground.

Princess Sapphire - the wisest princess, skilled with magic
Smokey - the youngest dragon, inexperienced and learning from Sapphire

Princess Amethyst - meant well, clumsy, often made things worse by trying to help
Spiny - also clumsy and a bit insecure, but good natured

Princess Amber  - always positive, busying around getting involved in stuff, known for saying 'that's no problem', after which things notoriously became a problem...
Flash - Usually making sure Amber doesn't get herself into more than she can handle

Princess Ruby - fussy, impatient, liked things to be done properly (which sometimes led to tricks being played on her). Very proper in her manners and etiquette - but often leaves tasks undone.
Sparks - down to earth, diplomatic, used to finishing off tasks Ruby leaves undone.

The dragons were also part of the Paws and Claws club, run by Spike iirc, and also featuring members like Snowball and Twinkles the cats, Brandy the dog, Duck Soup and even later on Solomon the Snail (who was Squirmy's comic snail friend).

Fiery, as he was my UTH Princess dragon, & MO Spike as I prefer the more detailed eyes. My UTH (Used To Have) Spike & current Spike both have the other type of eyes though...
Having said that I love all the dragons!!!

Id have to say Mail order spike (don't have him.) I also like Smokey because of his pretty color blue, I also like Spiny. I think the rest of them are all cute I just can't decide.
