Was wondering what would inspire a company to make them, but the revelation that they're from an artist is a wee bit disappointing.  Still weird looking though.

That's cool that the artist made a handful more to sell as resins- looks like even with a price-tag of $85 a pop, they sold out immediately. I kinda hope they will have more, but not sure I'd pay $85 each for them though.
