Title: Hello from a newly started pony collector!

Hello!
I'm 25, living in PA, USA.
My older sister was around when MLP was first created and I got mostly handmedown G1 ponies and a couple G2 and G3 ponies of my own. About a month ago, I randomly thought of a bunch of old toys I used to play with and went searching for them, the old ponies included. They were mangled, but not too dirty or moldy so I decided to clean them up. It was really relaxing and cathartic!
Now I'm trying to collect the ponies I like, mostly G1, and do some pony restoration! It's really nice seeing a grungy pony turn brand new!

Your story sounds familiar, it's the best when old ponies with playwear and dirt clean up nicely. Good luck with your collecting and restoration projects!
