Haha, yes the team of shiny not-shinies. I agree with Garchomp, and Leafeon. Now that we have 3D models, I was kind of hoping they would at least do a little more to make them look different. Lol. I'm actually a proud(?) owner of a shiny Seel I found in Leaf Green, I was lucky I had the sound on because I wasn't looking and would have NEVER known it was a shiny. Phanpy is another one that belongs there.

I guess I had a similar experience with the GTS too, someone sent me a Purrloin, and it sat in my box for a couple days before I had space in my party to train it. When I finally checked it out in the PC, I was completely stumped about the extra red star on it's page. I feel ashamed about that, because I actually wanted to breed for a shiny Purrloin since it's the closest pokemon to a black cat.

Garchomp is the biggest shiny dissapointment for me ever! Would have been cool in a sky blue.....but nope. Dewgong has always upset me LOL so plain looking, not even a hint of a pastel color  or really any other color for shading!? In anime im sure in the wild no one would ever know! Omg leafeon too....they could have used a burnt red on him like full-time leaves!

I dunno.... I think it's better to look basically the same than become HIDEOUS. Like shiny Espeon.... it's awful.

Haha, they're basically just less or more saturated. Glaceon's like that as well. The ice bear looks like it's standing in the shade...

Oh yeah that non-shiny-shinies are pretty disappointing :/ I wish theyd be at least a bit mooooore altered. Hm :/


Im back from my CT appointment now and since it all went smooth and pretty fast we were able to make a short trip to Gamestop before going home <3 They still had a box of that 20th Anniversary Charizard card set left and I instantly grabbed it <3 The Charizard card si soo pretty! I can really reccommend it to any fan, the artwork is beautiful (huuuuge Charizard fan here lol, you might have guessed that ) OMG and I was soooo lucky, the booster packs that were in the pack contained 2 (!) more Ex cards <3 and a few holo cards too (one double for me now lol). My new Ex cards are Mega Venusaur and Flareon <3  Im also eypecially happy for the Rapidash holo cards, its sooo beautiful <3

Me too! Thanks to akule, im now just missing regigas, and some monthky mythicals (i also missed diancie, volcanion, and hoopa from last year. I hope they come back later in the year.)

  Uh.. something is WEIRD with my Alpha Sapphire.... I just got the Shiny Charm and National Pokedex award..... without Arceus and Genesect. I don't know what happened... think it's a bug???

Aitsuki, those two Pokemon are event Pokemon and are not needed to complete the national pokedex!

No event pokemon can be traded over gts or wonder trade because of their ribbon. But people do have him and can be traded if you are friends with them

Finally Shaymin! Now I just need the gen 5 mythicals and Volcanion, and my Pokedex will be complete... Say, has there been a Volcanion event yet?
