Yeah, I was just going to collect the plushies but then I realized I wanted the metallic figures as well.

I didn't even know about the boxes until last week, I'm lame... I know. But when I saw that they came with pins I was like "Guess I'm collecting these too."

Ahhh I know, right!? I told myself only mew, jirachi, celebi, and manaphy plush. Then everything else that was released happened to make its way into my home....including all those darn pikachus! Its too much pikachu even for me. I'm happy about the tin boxes though! I found out about them by the guy at GameStop, he told me boxes were coming out at all retail stores! I have the red gyarados pin, black rayquaza pin, dragonite pin, and now I'm buying these event Pokemon pins.....

I would actually check Walmart before B&N! TCG venders usually restock on Tuesdays! My friend who works at the target next to me said they have a few! Im waiting for Walmart to get them so I can get my employee discount! I like getting these for only $10!

So with my pins I'm actually attactching them to my anniversary plush cases! I'm poking the pin point through the fabric on the zipper- its a nice way to not loose them! You guys should do it too!

The last time I found a shiny it was in pearl and caught me by surprise. 

Im a bit reluctant to try to allocate my time towards it right now since I still need to hound my brother for the rest of the legendaries needed to complete the dex >>

gosh those pins really are pretty.. but I dont collect pins and have no where to display them xD so bleh! I CAN RESIST!

and yeah I debated up and down about the 4pack pikachu sets >.< just TOO much pikachu, and Iv never been a fan of him, and the only one I really want is the pikachu with the swadloon cap xD (SO CUTE!) but its not worth it just for that one figure lol.

My Gamestop got their shipment in so I ran over to pick up a Celebi box, and I am so glad I did!! I pulled one of the main cards I wanted

Sylveon is so adorable! I especially love the inclusion on the Eevee.

And speaking of Pikachu, I ended up picking up the two collectors sets a week or so ago. I'm a Pikachu fan, and I really wanted the berry eating figure and the one with the leaf.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah CONGRATS KITKUMI! I LOVE THAT CARD!!!!!!! OMG OMG OMG! Sylveon is my FAVORITE eeveelutioncand eevee has always been my favorite along with dratini! Its so cute! I cant wait to buy this box- i had no idea that card was in the Generations packs!! I got the gardevoir card in mine! 11 more boxes to go- maybe i will get lucky!

*also i just realized i spelled your name wrong on the mail and the little card i sent with celebi-  i spelled it "kitkume"! xD Inb4 im sorries!

I got that card in one of my Generations packs from the Mew box! Sylveon is my favorite Eeveelution, so I was pretty excited. Congrats, Kitkumi!

I'm sad the only way to get the packs is to buy the whole box! I guess I'll have extra pins later haha

The fact that you can't buy the individual packs annoys me! And the fact that you only get two packs per box >.> Though I thought I saw on the Pokemon site that they are releasing card boxes with figures starting on March 16 (The three original starters, evolved, and Pikachu) that I think come with four packs each.

OMG, I am in love with that Sylveon card! I'm gonna have to go on a hunt for it!

I feel like I'll be buying a ton of Poke merch this month, too. You guys are a bad influence! I haven't gotten to Gamestop to get my Celebi yet -- hopefully I can do that tomorrow.

I remember when cards first started showing up, and they were all pretty standard cookie cutter molds of each other, with basic art etc...

Now theyre all sooo unique! I dont really collect them anymore, but my son does, and sometimes I just look at his card collection because all the different art styles and layouts are so neat to look at lol.
