Nothing!? O.o that's so crazyyyy! I will throw a little luck your way! You probably don't want the TRU and Walmart pikachu merch or Pokédolls at Target but did you find anything in your area? There's got to be more somewhere!

Maybe its because you dislike Pikachu that's why you only run into him Its the same story with me but with mew- I wasn't really hunting for him I mostly wanted pikachu exclusives!

I'm convinced that's what it is. I've also vowed to never ever actively buy anything Pikachu, so it's just like I'm being made fun of when all I see is Pikachu, Pikachu, Pikachu... I mean, this is the 20th anniversary guys, there are at least 150 other Pokemon who deserve recognition too! I would love to see more anniversary merch for the original starters, or more of the 1st gen legendaries. It'd feel more like a celebration of the games that came out 20 years ago as a whole, and not just one Pokemon.

I mean, it's the beginning of the year, so maybe there's more to come, but seeing the same Pokemon everywhere all the time and not being a fan of said Pokemon makes me feel really crappy.

Also, went to 3 other GameStops today...nothing. I'm so sad right now.

I at least got my code for Mew.

edit: Has anyone else seen the other metallic legendary plushies on eBay from China? I was looking for a Mew (but people are selling it for way too much) and happened across some Chinese sellers who already have Darkrai and Celebi up...they're cute!

^ awwwwwe Mbs I saw you posted something here and i rushed to look of you had found any mew stuff! I was so excited aaah but I know deep down you will find something! You should totally cave and  buy pikachu, he might be a good luck charm! xD I agree though, I want the other 150 pokemons to have merch!!!!! Especially Lapras, Dratini-line, and eevee! Theres more  l Eievui stuff coming out but its not anniversary goodies. I have seen the other plush being sold! Its awesome but i want it in the zipper bed comfprter-style bag! Im glad ebay is always an option!

I do wish we had more merch of the other pokemon besides Pikachu all of the time. He is the mascot and all but sheesh. Heck, you know who needs some merchandise? Raichu. Everyone forgets about him.
Part of me does want the Pikachu figures but I'd only want like one or two of them. xD

You know, if they were smart, for the anniversary they'd release a HUGE Lapras and Snorlax plush. Like the ones you could decorate in your room in some of the games (Johto, iirc).

Are the Mew's from GameStop codes on cards, or are they something where you have to physically go there with your system to get? The reason I ask is because one of the stores near me that was in the mall closed down and the other is closed as well because they're getting ready to move to a bigger location. So I might end up missing Mew, and he's one of the few Pokemon I don't have. If it's just a card, can someone pick me up one and PM me the code?

The face one Is adorable but those ears look like they can break off easily o.o 

Don't like the other one, even though  I find it cute the way they spell eevee is like how the pokemon says its name.

^ ahhh isn't it so cute!!?? I love the i eievui head one as well- not the white one! There is another coming out with the handle being eevee tail OMG its so crazy cuuute!

I am so strange. Whenever I see the golden pikachu anniversary plush....I think of the taste of McDonalds fries. It just happens on its own, I think its because he is golden like fried potatos. I'm looking at a picture of the plushie online and I can totally taste them LOL so random what the heck. Now I must get fries....and that plush eventually. I'm eating Knotts Berry Farm cookies....I taste fries over the cookies when I look at the pikachu O.o

Yesterday I went to a different GS to try to get a second code card and they were ALL OUT! It's ridiculous how busy some GS stores are and how they can run out of something like that so quickly, but then other stores expect to still have cards in stock at the end of the promotion...

Yeah it's a bit odd. The gs store I go to most, gave me 3 the first day, I went in yesterday and they still had a bunch. But the one in the mall was only giving one out, in fact they wouldn't even give me one, because they gave one to my son. But I guess since it's in a mall, There must be more people showing up? But my prefered store is bigger also so maybe that's why they get more? Who knows.

The first GS I went to that opening day told me they only got in 100 Mew cards and is the busiest store in the area, so maybe some stores got an amount depending on how busy they normally are?
Plus a lot of them are aware that people have been getting as many cards as possible (be it for every single version of their games, for friends who can't make it, to resell, ect.), so they are putting a limit on them. Some of them, at least.
