Hello from soggy Colorado. I'm making this post on behalf of skyrocketneko, who is in the middle of some of the severe flooding that is hitting our area. She is safe and her house is elevated enough that the water hasn't reached her, but power, internet, and 4G are out and she barely had enough phone reception to let me know she was safe and to ask me to post this message:
If you are currently in a trade with skyrocketneko, she will me MIA for a little bit, until the waters recede and the power is back. Her neighborhood is basically an island right now, the roads are washed out and the town is totally inaccessible. So please be patient and she will be back once all of that is sorted.

Poor darling!
If you hear from her again before the rest of us do, please tell her she's in my thoughts.

I will let her know. Got in contact with her this morning and the flooding is still really bad. They are telling residents of her area that it might take a MONTH to get everything back to normal. So in the meantime, if anyone needs to get a hold of skyrocketneko, just PM me and I will relay the message to her. :)

Hey guys.. I am ok but had to evacuate my house with nothing but my cats and some clothes.
It may be months before I am allowed back in, but for now I am staying with my husband's parents.

I'm so sorry hun, I hope you get to go back sooner, but wishing the best till then and after for you and everyone having to go through this.

*hugs* I've been watching the flooding on tv. I can't imagine what you all are going through!

I'm from Queensland in Australia, so I know EXACTLY what you're going through... I've had to evacuate with my pets and the clothes on my back, but thankfully got no water in my home. I've had to rescue my mum... she refused to leave until the snakes started resting on the stairs... I had to wade in and get her out before she had a panic attack, because the water wasn't deep enough for the boats we had access to in places, and the vehicles couldn't get through because of the deep parts. My thoughts are with you, and I'm sure all of us here agree in that sentiment. Be safe, that's all that matters. I'm so glad you got your pets out, many don't get that option here, the water comes so fast, and rescuers only take people.

Scary!!! I'm glad your family (cats included!!!) are ok. The photos are unreal. Thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family, and all those affected by the floods and torrential rains!

I am so glad that you were able to get out, your poor town just breaks my heart. I am so lucky to not have major flooding here, just puddles.

I'm really glad you're ok  I saw pics of the flooding and its absolutely awful!
-
Oh dear! I wish you the best of luck for the coming weeks/month. But I'm glad you, your family and pets are safe!

They showed it on the news yesterday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a speedy return. I can hardly imagine how you must feel

My sister lives in Denver but works in Aurora and they held them up at work because of the flooding on Friday. I've been worried about her and her friends. I can't imagine what you're going through. You're all in my thoughts.

Update from me!
All trading and sales will have to be put on hold for 2-6 months. That is the soonest that I can move back into my house and get to my sales room based on the newest info on my town. Very sorry, everyone!
I had so many new ponies and items to post for sale too. Frustrating because half my income is from selling!

 Hang in there! I am sure everyone will understand your situation, so take your time.
-

Ok, I'm back up and running! The only downside is that my Post Office is still closed, so I have to drive 30 mins one way to get to one. Going to start throwing stuff on eBay shortly. :P

So glad to hear you are home again!
