I haven't posted here in a few years, but I wanted an excuse to practice 3D modelling art, and what better use for it than posting ponies?

How about a pony that has something to do with stars?

Thanks guys! I'm still pretty new to Blender (started learning in January) so I appreciate the compliments :art:

I'm learning about hair particles so I can make better looking manes and tails, and my lighting and materials are baaaasic, but I enjoy the actual modeling part a lot!

Love the star pony, Mewtwofan1!

Interim announcement! :lol: I'm slowly making a drawing. I've got the ponies sketched out on paper but I'm having a problem with the G2 pony's face, especially the muzzle!  :lol: Why is it so difficult.. :pout:

Golden Light's legs became too yellow and the symbol is not at all what it really is on that pony!  :lol: :blush:

The diamond eye is just "a twinkle" of a star!  :lol:



For the next prompt, I would like to see ponies harvesting (e.g. apples, plums or other things in the garden..) Preferably G1 ponies.

Quick sketch of Blackberry Pie & Berry Bright picking blackberries. There are plenty on back roads where I live, within a mile's walk, & I can't wait to go picking them!!!

I need to think of a prompt!!! Err... A Pony celebration!!!
