The Competition:
In keeping with the theme of the 2012 Diamond Queens Jubilee in the UK, I thought we could have fun with a little photograph competition!
The key rule to this competition is that your photograph has to be themed – so this means it can have a “ Royal ” theme or a “ British ” theme – think everything from crowns and pageantry to tea parties and Union Jacks. Of course all images must include at least one pony or more but be as creative with the picture as you wish.

The Judges:
All pictures will be judged by a fabulous panel…so lets meet them...

The Prizes:
There will be 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes for the competition – the winner will be able to pick from a selection which includes Princess Cadence [from the Wedding Castle], Shining Armour [from the Wedding Castle], a selection of G1 UK Comics [gorgeous!], a couple of gorgeous G1s, a selection of wave 3 blind bag ponies and even a blank decorate your own G3.

The Rules:
The competition is open to all Arena members and any or all generations of pony can be featured.
You can enter only a maximum of 2 pictures each.
Photographs must be all your own work and cannot be digitally enhanced in any way – we need to make this as fair a playing field as possible.
Your photograph needs to be titled – again anything to fit the theme and describe your picture.
To enter simply post your entry in this thread along with the title of your picture - your picture will be uploaded to a gallery whose link will be in this post so that people can "browse" the entries.
The photographs of course remain your own, this is a fun competition and as and when images are posted in this thread all pictures will be credited to the applicable member.
Closing date for entries will be 25th June.

Feel free to use this thread to throw ideas around, suggest "settings", ask questions or of course show an off teaser picture or two as you work your way towards your masterpiece!

I'll have to use my stupid phone, because I hate my camera.. luckily the phone quality is gorgeous.

oh I didn't see that rule!!
So does that mean we can't change the contrast/sturation etc?
I know photobucket has plenty of editing tools so I would think since it's open to everyone it would be allowed ??

By photo enhancement I really mean we dont want pictures which have had the kind of work which only those with serious skills and access to specialist software can do - like airbrushing and or image effects. Just to make sure everyone has a fair chance.
