If she's not going to play the game I would buy a foreign one.

But they may be region locked, so I wouldn't buy one from the UK for now if you plan on using it with the game later. Although one from Japan may work

No, amiibos aren't region locked. So she's good. ^-^

We got Yarn Yoshi today and he is sooo cute! Squeeeeee! We had talked about not getting the other two but with the green being so cute we have to get the others. For now he's staying in his package, we might get another one to have loose. The game is super awesome also! I love it!

Thiiiiiiissssss! I want to play YWW so bad, because it looks adorable, and reminds me of the Kirby yarn game which I LOVED.
