Title: Selling G4 collection - advice / price check
Post by: CrystalSnowflake on February 10, 2018, 08:05:20 PM
I am looking to sell off my entire G4 collection.

I have all the brushables and playsets up to the rainbow power series.
All of them are mint loose with accessories and back cards. Only thing missing are the pamphlets and bonus discs.

What is the price range I should be shooting for per pony?
Are there any that are worth significantly more than the rest?

Any advice and selling tips would be appreciated.

The Wave with Plumsweet and Honeybuzz is HTF and more valuable. Flitterheart.
Maybe I should check to see who I might be missing....

Alright y'all, I'm going to help out so I will edit this back when I am finished with the hopefully full list of prices!

Edit: only doing singles brushables can't really nelp with the sets :(

Watching this- curious! I don't have any answers, but it seems like a fun place to be!

Due to shipping prices, your best bet is to try to sell the playsets locally. I don't think any of them fetch particularly high prices.

Applejack's Farm and Cherriliee's School House are harder to find and small enough to ship inexpensively. I have no idea on exact prices though, I would check ebay for the going rates and if selling here, people usually charge a bit less.

Sometimes it's hard to believe what you see on eBay.
I have seen both depressingly low prices for things and other time prices that seem outrageously high.

I would prefer to sell to the fine members here over eBay any day. I just haven't bought or sold ponies in significant quantities for several years.

Oh of course, but if you look at sold listings you can see what things are actually selling for and that will give you an idea of what's common and what's more hard to find. Anyway, my comment was more about the playsets because someone mentioned they don't sell for much and shipping is too high. I was letting you know that those 2 sets were sought after for a while but I'm not sure anymore so I suggested checking ebay to confirm.

As for your original question, any non mane 6 pony will be sought after. Their prices will vary though. Hopefully some others can help out with prices. I haven't bought or sold a G4 online in a while so I really don't know the going rates. :)
