Style Challenge Show Off Thread!

All these ponies are awesome so far! I love how everyone used the prompts, you guys are so creative! Everyone so far is entered into the prize drawing, except Griffin as per your request.

Just because I'm bummed I couldn't do mine in time, my theme was going to be carrot cake! With orange as the main color (obvs) and a bunny friend.

We still want to see!!!

German weather finally allows me to take proper pictures of my custom and its friend.

Both have no names yet, I‘m happy to hear your suggestions.

Originally I planned to make something that could have been designed by Hasbro but the props were too difficult to combine.
So I tried to let the imagination flow as best as possible. I think I included everything but the dark markings on the pony. These didn‘t fit with the pale body colors even though purple is darker than blue or orange. So I added these markings to the little piggy companion, who holds the notes when not being in use. Additionally the little piggy glows in the dark. The clay was combined with glow in the dark pigments.

You can add the notes which are reuseable with the magnets on the pony.

Pokeyonekenobie, I love how you incorporated bright orange, the freckles are so cute and the symbol really pops! And what a brilliant idea to use Perler beads to make the friend!

Pandabear_chan, Omg those are MAGNETS?! That is amazing, what a unique idea! The pastel colouring looks so pretty, and the little piggy friend matches perfectly. I would love to have these two on my desk at work!  

BlackCurtains, I'm sorry you weren't able to complete yours - like PBW said we'd still love to see it at some point! I see almost all of use decided to go with blue or purple base and use orange for the accents. I'd LOVE to see these prompts turned around in an orange pony!

Thank you so much, that was totally spontaneous (originally he was planned in all blue with purple markings and orange in there as well). That's why only the little pig has darker markings.

Aw, thanks PBW and Griffin I got as far as a base coat and that was it. I might finish it one day though.

OH wow!  It is awesome to see how everyone interpreted this in so many different ways!     So many beauties    And so many different takes on the cute animal friends!
I'm gonna comment on all of them 

Minty magic - your animal friend is THE CUTEST!!! Also love your gradient

PBW - your body/hair colors are my faves!  So vibrant and with a real early 90s feel 

HoM - love how you did the hair, esp with the blueberries along the mane. Also your hedgehog is so sweet 

starscout - love your hairstyling, so perfect and smooth, and the stars all over look great    Cool background story about the moonmelon!

Griffin - your symbol is awesome, it is so detailed and cute!  And your little matching animal friend looks wonderful, too

pokeyonekenobie - I think your pony looks the most like an actual licensed 80s My Little Pony!  So good!

pandabear_chan - the magnets!!  Such a novel approach!  I'm fascinated!

Unfortunately I didn't make it past the planning stage, I've been house hunting and dealing with a health setback...maybe I could share a picture of the design I came up with, just for funsies?  It was gonna be orange, I'm extra sad I couldn't finish so there could be at least one orange pony

Okay, here it is!  The theme is grape soda. The sparkles aren't very distinct so I might need to work on that. For the "beads" part I was going to do some kind of grape bunch (shown behind the ear).  I don't think I ever got around to designing an animal friend but for now I'm thinking a black and white cocker spaniel for some reason. Well I'm just glad to contribute an orange pony design!  I do hope to make this someday, I have a bait prepped and everything.  But life is crazy right now...
