I have another custom I finished. I think I've made more ponies in 2023 so far than I did of all 2022!

A couple of firsts on this one. I had originally intended to sculpt a waterfall on her, but after I airbrushed her and added the clouds she seemed more meadow-y to me, so I painted one. I'm not very good at painting so I looked up some tutorials on landscapes and trees. I think I did a pretty good job for the first painting I've done like this. I don't think I ever painted a landscape before. Maybe that's where all my brush skills went The airbrushed clouds were also a first. I've had my airbrush for probably 10 years or more but I've only used it for FBRs and gradients. I've been watching tutorials on how to actually, you know, paint with it. I made some mistakes (too much paint/too close/not close enough) and then when I washed her hair I accidentally scraped some of the sky off >.> so there's an out of place repainted patch.

Overall I think she turned out okay. I'd like to try more landscapes but I need to practice on paper first. I'm looking at doing a desert sunset and I really want to do a barn, pasture and little cows. We'll see if I can do it
