Over 20 easily... Reading is one of my passions. =) i read evedy night for an hour or two before i pass out, drop the book on the floor, and lose my place. Its tradition. And ill read when i soak my back/hip a few times a week for a few hours, and randomly thruout the day sometimes... Both real books and the kindle. I love the feel/smell of real books, but i love the storage capacity on the kindle... After finishing my move last night... And lugging 10 overstuffed BOXES of books down 3 flights of stairs... I reeeally wish theyd lower the kindle prices more and offer more sales... Id love to start transfering my library into the kindle and save my back! But its just not financially feasable any time soon... I cant go to savers without leaving with an armfull of books that i might not ever get around to reading.

Im also IN LOVE with audiobooks, but i dont really count that as "reading" its more like watching a movie imo. I think ive gone thru 10-15 audios this year... If not 20+ mainly listen to them when im customizing or playing a game on the lappy/surfing the net... And when im driving to work/anywhere. Yeah... So basically whenever im not watching tv... Sleeping... Or have company over... I have an audiobook playing. My library has a great selection so im going in all the time and loading them into my itunes. Ssh! Dont tell on me! :ninja: :flash: :ninja:

That was cool. I got the Kindle for Black Friday, and then the covers went on sale to about $5 for Cyber Monday. Sweet!

Technically I've read a ton of books this year, but I'm not sure they count when they're Spot books or Thomas the Tank Engine or Mr Men ones!!

Unfortunately I don't have as much time to read as I used to, but I've read five or six this year. Maybe more, but I forget when I read the ones on my kindle.

I'm currently reading The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde and loving it!

I'm probably somewhere in the 10-20 range, which after doing some serious thinking is actually probably over twenty. Oops! I have a Kindle and I take a train in to work so it's the perfect time to get lots of reading done!

I know ebooks aren't for everyone and nothing really beats the feel and heft of a real book, but the kindle has been super convenient for me. I can have all my books in one place and don't have to worry about accidentally damaging any of them.

And I can also put fanfiction on it. >_>

Unfortunately- I read like a fiend. I read on the train to and from work, before I go to sleep, at meals (I know I know) when my wife is watching TV, on my lunch break, and should I admit this? Even when I am walking to and from the train station.

It used to be more moderated when I had to physically buy a book from a bookstore or Half-Price-Books (this great used bookstore that I think maybe no longer exists). However, I eventually gave into the temptation of the Kindle (I travel a lot and don't always want to tote 4 books with me) and it has been downhill ever since.

Currently I read about a book a week- unless I'm on vacation when it jumps to about 4. I try to look for specials and deals, but of course I also have to buy all the books coming out from my favorite authors and series.  I shudder to imagine what my book budget was last year...

This isn't as much as you'd think though, since about 1/3 of what I read is generally considered YA, and those books are generally a lot shorter than say something by Robert Jordan.

Love me some books !!!!

I've only read one this year, and I really had to force myself to do it.  It's kind of embarrassing to admit, but I really hate reading.  I want to like it, but I can't get into it at all, no matter what genre or series it is... :(

Hm... Not even one. I've never really been a book person. I prefer animated media, or movies.

Thank goodness for Goodreads otherwise I would never be able to keep track.  I am currently sitting at 333 this year and will definitely read over 365 this year.

Oh gosh, I think I haven't really read a book on my own accord in like a long time. Was an avid reader when I was young, but it trickled down over the years.

I feel bad, since I have 2 books in my room I haven't even read all the way.

I read a lot during summer (while sunbathing :P) but I would like to read so much more.. I just can't find any books that I want to read..  I love to read fantasy (like lord of the rings, eragon, potter etc), history (jane austen, three musketeers etc.), crime (karin slaughter etc.) and classic (bambi etc.). It just too hard to find the good ones -.-.

Do text books count? If so I have read more than my share! Almost done with the semester and am really looking forward to some reading of my choice for a month.
