Can I put a blindbag G4 in the oven?
« on: January 25, 2013, 04:07:36 PM »
I want to sculpt hair onto a blindbag pony, but I only have Fimo and I believe some supersculpy at my disposal?
Both of these need to be cooked before they harden, so I wanted to ask if the plastic the Blind bags are made out of will withstand the oven at about 120' celsius?

Also, can the eyes/symbol be painted over or should it be removed first?

Cheers all! x

Yes and yes. :) I put the ponies on a cutting board, because I worried metal would be too hot, and it worked out just fine.
I'll put something here some time

I have baked blind bags with Sculpey additions on a sheet of tinfoil, on a metal pan in a 120 F degree oven for 20 minutes and they've always done fine :) Good luck! I'd remove as much paint as you can, I can always see the line of the old paint.
