Straightened Perfume Puffs?

I was thinking about the trick using conditioner and a curling iron to straighten out seriously frizzy hair on a pony. What about a Pefume Puff with all that intentionally frizzy hair? Has anyone ever managed to make it all sleek? If so...pictures?

I don't know if it's been tried, but I don't think that the results would be great.  I'd guess that the only way to have a sleek-maned Perfume Puff is to find a bald one and rehair with normal pony hair!

I too, don't think i have ever seen anyone attempt it, but it would be very interesting to see!

Only seen rehaired ponies and are amazing =)

I would not even dare to try it on a PP as I'm not sure how will their  hair react to a flat  iron.  And more because their hair is fluffy, not really frizzy =P

I think Tuney have a Red Rose rehaired and is really drool-worthy =)

Yeah PP hair is very different.  I don't think you could get it to lie truly flat.  The above advice is top notch.

Tuney has a TON of rehaired Red Roses, they are gorgeous.  *goes to poke Tuney*.

Thanks for directing me, CSA. I just used lots of water, conditioner, combing, and ironing on these girls. Really soak and lather up that hair, and be prepared to loose some hair when combing it out. It's inevitable.

IT will never behave like regular pony hair because it's not, but PP hair can get pretty sleek and smooth.

I don't have any PP's myself, I was just curious. A few hair matching sites list the PP hair matches in with straight hair matches so I thought maybe the hair arrived at the factory the same but had been worked with to make it fluffy before using used.

Thanks for posting your photos, Tuneful! At first I thought that second one was a foreign Red Roses but couldn't find my info on foreign variants of the PPS.
Then I noticed the lack of horn.
And the totally different pose.
I don't know much about PPs. I JUST realised it's the same pony as in NoDivision's photo. Whoops.

NoDivision: Whoah, does Dainty Dahlia ever look different there! Even if it can't go all the way, it's still pretty unusual.
