My big dream is to find a dream castle in beyond condition so I may make a pony castle of my own. I also want to find a doll house or some kind...not picky to make into my own creation.
1. Have you done this?
2. Do you have pictures?
3. Any advice on material?
Anything more to add...GO FOR IT:) figured I can get ideas and dream.

I bought a plain wooden dolls house a few years ago with every intention of doing it up and making it my own. But that has yet to happen. In the interim the kids are playing with it...
-
Hehe I can see that happen:)

I made a blue buggy a long time ago. But can't link photobucket... We should talk castle, I've got an extra with missing bits that might work for your project...

My boyfriend bought my daughter a dollhouse and we customized it together. I'll take pics later.

I'm sure I remember seeing a post from someone who had painted Dream Castle silver and white and displayed night-themed ponies in it. It was really pretty!

Oh a dream castle to customize would be amazing.

That's the Dream Castle I was thinking of! It looks so pretty in silver and white :lovey:

Mlp4me how did you do that buggy? It looks so real...like a variation by factory!!!! That silver castle looks beautiful. My dream!
Can you dye playsets like using rit dye?
Are certain paints better? Sealers if you use paint? Don't want to have a pont display and risk a pony to risky paint/dye leaching.
Those pictures are soo cool.

Acrylic paint is what I used, sealed with gloss mod podge. There was a blanket on the inside of the buggy so no paint bleeding would occur.
