Interested in commissioning maybe?

I could use some extra cash to buy new art supplies and save for a new computer (one that can actually handle running photoshop  ^^;). I'm happy to draw non pony things as well (pets/animals/OCs/Pokemon/etc.) but may run a different price depending on what so we can discuss if you're interested.

Traditional (will be fairly small size about the size of a G4 pony/G1 baby--3" maybe a little bigger or smaller? I can intentionally draw it the size of a card to fit into a card holder as per example in below spoiler) Also, as of now it will be drawn on standard printing paper, as cardstock is one of the things I'd need to buy....)-$5
+Can also be mailed to you for cost of shipping and standard letter/card envelope (so should be fairly cheap)

Thanks so much for the comments everyone. I've truly missed drawing ponies (and the arena too, I haven't posted in too long).

I've been cracking away at some more doodles. In debate of who I want to turn the Pegasus into (thinking something G3 because I haven't coloured one in awhile...or G2 even though there aren't any 'real' pegasi in that gen). I'm really liking the new Applejack concept for G5, and had to doodle her too.

Thanks Sapphire Rain and Khoufu. I still want to turn one of these ponies awaiting colour into a G3...

(Haha, wow, it's a blast from the past seeing my 'pony in a stocking' adoptable again. :lol:)

I had told myself I was going to colour in at least one of those ponies this weekend. Well, I didn't, but did some more pony doodling. :P The pencil one I drew really small at the bottom of the page, so don't feel inclined to ink/colour it, but thinking about fixing up the pose/hair and painting one digitally again.

Got some airborn ponies coloured in! Phone camera is eating the colours as usual...really need to look for my scanner. Wind Drifter's wings are completely gone. D:

Also, thinking of opening up some temporary commissions (to buy new art supplies, lol!). I will try to organize things relating to that over the weekend, but I guess throwing out a feeler if anyone would be interested? Mostly aiming to do small card sized traditionals for cheap (that can be mailed) and potentially digital???

Butterscotch got a basic bg because I accidentally made a coloured line I couldn't erase and needed a way to hide it. It...works? In hindsight, I should have added some butterflies so her symbol would make sense.  :lol:

The pose and expression on the purple one remind me of Charlotte from the old Charlotte's Web cartoon movie, the way she would look at Wilbur when he was happy.

I think I vaguely remember seeing that movie. Was there a sequel with some of Charlotte's kids? also, now I want to see spider-ponies.  :lol:

I kind of want to go back and add more to it. I need to spend more times playing around with backgrounds/landscapes in general.

No update today, was working on a digital pony to get back into Sai (I've become accustomed to Photoshop thanks to work, and am failing with the different shortcuts plus general differences in the brushes). Will hopefully have her done next weekend, or earlier if I bring my tablet home during the week.

Still a WiP, but I worked on her a little more today. Meet the floppy/plushie pony species. The size of a normal My Little Pony but all the more cuddly. :biggrin: (Heh, I'd like to write a real pitch for them as if they were a set/gimmick being released).

I intend to design a bunch of these as time passes. But for now, here is the first, Stich'N'Sew.

Plushie type critters are adorable. Love the style. Use the brush on ponies, much faster than drawing. :P

Khoufu- Ah! Neopets never crossed my mind when I first doodled Stich'N'Sew!

sd_dreamcrystal- Awesome, I'm kind of surprised Hasbro hasn't made an actual Plushie series yet (ponies that are plush biologically vs actual brushable ponies having a plushie version, I mean).

Anyway, I haven't worked on finishing painting that Sew Soft (pun name, haha!), but I was doodling a 'pose' as a base, and wanted to put together some rough designs to test it out; I think I want to spruce up the grey skies/rainbow one.  ^.^

Safflower- Oh, that's a good idea. I don't have the time now, but when I do, and when I refine the base, I'll definitely have to see about offering some.

Khoufu- That's such a cute idea! I had designed a rainbow on her other side, but I really like the silver lining too.

sd_dreamcrystal- So true!

I hate replying to this thread without posting new art, but I haven't any pony drawings to share. May put up some OC stuff tomorrow to fill the void in the meantime.  :wonder:

Thank you Griffin.  ^.^ Hopefully I can offer adoptables of them sometime.

Anyway, here is a small selection of the coloured stuff I've been working on. I've been subconciously been focusing on doodling one of my OCs lately. And something Pokemon too.

The second and third are still WiPs, especially the traditional one, it's harder to decide on colours when they can't be reversed.
