Edit: Oh yeah. So do we say here which pony we're drawing or should we PM you to keep it a secret? The one definite pony I have in mind is a G1 that, as far as I'm aware, has no relation to FIM.

and you can do either.
so far no one has made too much mention of what they're going to do. we just don't want a whole calendar of one pony when there are so many of them out there.

I listed who I would be drawing, I think it would be best to give an idea of who we're all drawing that way we don't end up with a calendar full of Minty, Posey, and RainbowDash ha ha ha

I also edited my comment about this is my first page but it can be repeated, I think its a great idea to allow other members to get calendars, RJ it can cover your work expense

Yeah we should totally open it up to other members! I am planning on selling digital copies of my piece in my new Etsy shop, assuming that doesn't violate anypony's sensibilities?

part of me wants to do a pinkie pie parade in my pic. but i won't. 
since its the cover i think a 4 gens would be best... but

hmmm surprise, g4 pinkie, maybe g3 rainbow dash? and still no clue as of who to do in g2.
open to suggestions.
i kinda disappears on the pony scene for several years, so i'm clueless when it comes to g2 and g3.
i was thinking iconic characters, but 1. they are sometime overdone, 2. takes if from others who may want to draw them.
but i do claim g4 pinkie. love drawing that girl. (and g1 surprise.)

I always think of Ivy as the g2 mascot, but that's maybe because I've drawn her and seen her everywhere, the white one (lightheart maybe?) seems pretty g2 trademark-ish

I'm doing one from each generation, each one with a  clover/shamrock!

that would be awesome knowing that members have a piece of my work up on their wall for a month. i am fine with that too.

i am still not too sure who i will be doing. since i have september, i was thinking about using kid ponies as a back to school theme. not sure if i want to draw g1s as g4s or just g4s as g4s, unless i want to do g1s as g1s. too many decisions.

I'm fine with the calendar being available to everyone.

The pony I'm definitely drawing is Sprinkles. I haven't decided if I will squeeze in other ponies or not, though I do want to.

rosierjay- Princess Silver Swirl is the first pony I think of in terms of G2. I'm also not too familiar with them. I wonder if there are any balloon/party themed ponies, than Pinkie can host her parade with all her predecessors.

babyblueducky- When in doubt, choose some ponies from both gens?
