Here you can find plushies I have made and some work in progress pictures. All patterns are made by me unless otherwise stated.

August 3rd:

This is the last bunch of plushies for Worldcon. I know, I thought I was done earlier, but these were a result of a spur of a moment and unexpected energy peak.

August 16th: a hammerhead shark!
Worldcon was huge and I sold so many plushies I still have hard time believing it! :D So, I made this creature's pattern to relax.

I decided to make a thread for these as so far I have really liked how these patterns are coming along. :)

These patterns were all made by me with sales and conventions in mind.  I have planned and drafted six patterns and plan on ordering a special minky for the final plushies ;)

First in the series is this anglerfish, or Kerttu Krotti as I like to call her! (Kerttu is a Finnish woman's name and krotti is Finnish for anglerfish.)

June 5th edit:
My flatmate requested me to try out the Nessie pattern next and I was happy to oblige! Here's bad snapshots of the result!

This pattern is A LOT simpler than the Angler fish one, but I think it turned out cute! Only modification I am making is making her neck longer.


August 31st:
I got a place in Tracon's Artist Alley, so I have been making plushies pretty much nonstop after I got the news, which means I got about 15 new plushies for sale. Here are pictures of all the plushies that will be for sale in Tracon.

December 20th:
I decided to start drafting my own bigger jointed teddy bear pattern. Here's what I made today. I need to make a couple of changes and then the pattern is ready to use with mohair fabric.

I got a request to try and make a 6cm (standing) tall teddy bear. Here's what I made, still a bit too big as it is 6cm tall when sitting down.

This pattern turned rather cute on a first try. I will only change the tail by adding two centimetres more and shortening the wings a bit.

May 19th:
Got a confirmation for my artisan crafts table for Tracon 2017! Here is the very first plush for that event: a very shiny platypus. I will be making many more and will be listing them for sale at some point, not sure if this happens before or after Tracon though.

Personally not a fan of Angler Fish, but this plush pattern is pretty impressive! Very professionally done, it looks like its factory made. ^_^ Would love to see more patterns you come up with or already put together!

Thank you so much for your comment! Angler fish are such horrid and yet fascinating looking creatures that I couldn't resist trying to make one. It was also my first time making a plush with an open mouth :D

Anglerfish are horrifying creatures but aaah look how cute it is! :deathhug: Those small beady eyes and nasty, pointy teeth... I'm sure it's just waiting for cuddles! XD Amazing job on the pattern!

An anglerfish!!! Never seen a plush one before, she looks wonderful! And Nessie oh my gosh, I'd certainly buy one from you at a con (I'm a sucker for all things Nessie  :P)

Aww these are so cute, I love them! I've always envisioned nessie with a short tail but I like how she looks with a long one a lot, I think the longer neck you're planning will help to balance it out :)

I'd love to see an angler plush with a little male attached to her LOL

Thank you! Apparently others thought the bats were adorable, too, as they all sold! Even the two I made on Saturday evening after getting home. :lol: Overall the convention went great, I even sold one of the Anglerfish even though I thought no one would want one as they are a bit... special XD

Lovely! the bats are a favorite -did you by any chance use a Beanie Baby as inspiration? I had a bat one as a kid, and these remind me of them a lot, except yours have much more fun noses and color schemes!

Yup, I mostly make doll clothes but have now decided to make plushies for sale, too. :D

All plushies from Tracon X are now in my etsy. I will be making an example bat tomorrow and putting up a small preorder for them soon.

Still haven't been able to put up a preorder for the bat as I have been unable to take decent pictures of it. But! I have made some new patterns, including a teddy bear pattern that stands 30cm and sits 20cm tall. There's a WIP picture in the first message ^.^

I love making the trolls. Those bigger ones can be sewn by machine which I sadly can't do with then little ones as the result isn't as good as I would like it to be. The small ones are fun to make in a different way. :)

That Mimic is gorgeous, the eyelashes and gems are so sweet. You've created a beautiful pattern, would you make them in a larger scale? I'd love a Posey like this! ^.^

edited to add: I have now a enlarged pattern, too. The bigger pony pattern makes about 17 inches long (hoof to hoof) plushie.

Today's work: a baby Woolly Dragon pattern

This pattern turned rather cute on a first try. I will only change the tail by adding two centimetres more and shortening the wings a bit.

Got a confirmation for my artisan crafts table for Tracon 2017! Here is the very first plush for that event: a very shiny platypus. I will be making many more and will be listing them for sale at some point, not sure if this happens before or after Tracon though.

I know, the shipping is a killer! :yikes: Especially if the buyer wants tracking. The smaller plushies are on the lower side of shipping costs without tracking, for example I could ship two or three smaller plushies for 11 euros to Canada. ;)

I got the privilege to see Uninu's plushies and meet our lovely artist in person this week at Worldcon and I must say that they are even more gorgeous live than they are in photos. I also adopted one of her Jackalopes.  Love it to bits. ^.^
