yeah it's part of the new line coming out later this year... After the season final for season 3 of FiM. Hints have shown TS becomes a winged unicorn princess like Cadance (can't say the other two because she won't actually be like them )

Yes Princess Twilight Sparkle! I believe there are a variety of images of her floating around now - toys and from the cartoon.

In fact here is a picture of the new "extra large" Twilight Sparkle which Hasbro are releasing later in the year.

I know there are rumors about MLP being aimed at an older audience, but honestly, the pictures of the toys you are referring to are just the princess version of Twilight, not the older version.

I'm kind of curious now...Why did Hasbro give both those toys blue glittery wings?  The Twilicorn pictures we've seen have her with ordinary purple wings, so why blue for the toy? I don't think it's bad or anything, they look pretty in blue. It's just got me thinking.

as for why they might be blue.. hmm i bet they light up purple.. and blue plastic is good at conducting purple light.

I am liking this version of her more now that I have seen more pictures and better quality pictures than the first one I saw. The wings do looking like they move but may not be like the Glimmer Wing ponies. Thanks for sharing.

I'm actually looking forward to this set more than I expected to be. AliTwi looks much nicer in this shade than the usual colour, and though I find the wings a bit tacky, I think they're tacky in a good way. I also like how the castle is sort of 'in character' for Twilight, with the bookshelves and the telescope. The fact that part of it folds out (by the looks of the toy fair photos) adds major bonus points, since the wedding castle seemed really flat being one wall and everything. It's no paradise estate or celebration castle, but I might just get it if the price isn't too bad.

Edit: Plus, my blind bags need a new kingdom to hold under siege.
