Pony Corral / The best thing about collecting...

Having been away from pony collecting for so long, I cant believe how much fun I am having being back - I forgot how much fun "pony-ing" (as we refer to it in my house when I am in the pony room or on the computer) is :)

The childhood memories attached to MLP and the friendships I have made in the years of collecting are what make it special for me.

What keeps you collecting? What makes it so much fun for you?

I have been working on this site off and on for years but the last few weeks have finally allowed me to at least start to get some images taken!

I just wanted to share some of the first pages I have done for G1 combs and brushes.

I always wanted a source which showed accessories taken in the same way/same background and after all this time I finally managed it.

I hope its of interest and use to some of you.

The end plan is to bump it out and cover all G1 accessories this way...maybe in another decade I ll get it done lol :)

Pony Corral / Pony Alphabet

Simple game :) to while away the hours :)

Every post uses the next letter of the alphabet and any word which is to do with ponies...

So if I post A is for Applejack...the next poster can do B is for Brilliant Bloom and the next poster C is for cutie mark...and so on

I think we can agree to skip Q, V, X, Y & Z


A is for Apple Spice (such a cutie!)

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / What the heck toys?!

Do you ever look at toy lines and just wonder how they got past marketing, quality and, just, well any kind of sensible person? The scary looking or just the weird that are far from the cute and cuddly?

My favourite are Kenner's Grabbits...I cant help but think they look like evil bunnies and I cant imagine ever purchasing one for a child lol!

Anyone have anything else scary or weird that they have come across in toy collecting? Suitable for Arena audiences of course :P

Pony Corral / Miss G1 Universe ~ Coming Soon to a Corral Near You

So before the G1 Miss Universe contest begins...we need your suggestions.

We are looking for the top 32 G1 ponies that you feel get the least appreciation, the least love from the community. Maybe they are overlooked by their more adorable (and probably yellow) set mates or perhaps they just never make a super cute list.

We need the ponies to be adults only (no babies cause they are way too cute so they would win :P) and G1 (HK/China made only).

Just post your thoughts here and hopefully we can come up with the best contestants.

The entrants will each compete in a face-to-face pony popularity battle (1 battle per day); with each winner rising through the ranks to an ultimate final to declare Miss G1 Universe 2016. :) When finally that unloved G1 pony will be able to rise above her average and a little unloved status and proclaim herself winner!
