Thank you for accepting me onto this forum!

I was an avid collector as a child (I was born in the early 80s), and recently gotten bitten by the bug again.  My favorite pony as a child was my Tux N Tails boy.  My mother was always sending away for any mail order toys, and while I don't know what ever happened to him, I have one again, and he is the pride of my collection :)

I've been restoring dolls for a long time, so I've gotten into restoring G1 ponies as well.  I'm looking forward to doing as many projects as I have time for!

Some other info:

I live in Vermont, USA, but I was born in NJ.
I'm 31 years old.

I'm about 2/3 of the way through collecting all of the big brother/daddy G1 ponies.  THey are my absolute favorite.

I am a digital merchandiser for a . . . wait for it . . . a brands from the past company.  Since I like everything vintage, but I'm a computer geek, it works out pretty well for me.

I only have 2 brother ponies so far...they are lots of people's favorites.  Please share some pics of yours with us, if you like!

Lots of information on restoration to be found in the Pony Corral forum.  Feel free to share what you know, read and ask questions.  You might just find some of your missing Brothers in the For Sale forum.

Your job sounds exciting and so apt for you too!!  Glad to hear that you were able to be reunited with Tux - he is definitely a handsome boy :)

So you collect the males, do you know about the mountain boy ponies? They were like the big brothers but never sold in the US. I'd love to have Tux one day. Enjoy the forums!

How lucky to have had the mail order ponies!  I only had my one little baby Kellogg's pony from Christmas many, many years ago.  The boy ponies are some of my favorites, though I don't have many.  The Mountain Boys are my favorites of them all.  I have Sunburst and he's AMAZING.  :)
