Rare ponies on eBay?

The way ebay is set up now, it makes the description less obvious unless you go looking for it. And it seems to be increasingly optional for sellers to put one, which the old person living inside of me puts down to the smartphone listing phenomenon. The people who go take picture, list, two word description...and that's it.

I took a look at the latest items on Ebay.  Princess Sparkle/Amethyst's box looks really crushed and the pony looks like she has shifted slightly from where she should be.

I love those MOC baby sea ponies.

Are you referring to her being at an angle and not straight like the other princess ponies? All of the Sparkles I’ve seen are like that. Guessing it has to do with her horn and fitting in the packaging. I never got why she was at an angle but Misty wasn’t.

Random observation but I've noticed how some US boxed ponies go in for bubble-to-card-inside-box whereas UK boxed ponies from the same time (ie Princesses with dragons) are more tie-to-box-inlay-with-cellophane.

The US method seems more durable -my MIB Pristina has some damage to her box but she and her bubble are intact. If it had been a cello box she'd have been wrecked I think :/

I feel like one day I will want a US 1st set princess pony box because the art is so pretty, but the MIB ponies are always so expensive and nobody ever sells the boxes on their own.

I am slightly scared by the prices of the MIB 2nd set princesses so far. Taffeta I expected to go for a lot but not quite that much. I would still like Dawn and Misty as well, but I suspect Dawn will also go for a lot :/

This set of auctions kind of confirmed they're no longer anywhere near my price range and so completing the set will need a miracle or a lottery win xD.

I didn't realize are MIB Sparkles are like that. That's really interesting.  It's also interesting that the US Princess Ponies have the bubble inside the box and the UK princess ponies with dragons don't.

Seeing my chidhood ponies MOC/MIB really makes me want to purchase them but I can't afford them.

I found it by searching "My Little Pony Prince" for Sold listings.

Noasar - it doesn't show on ebay UK. Try completed listings and changing the url to .com

I missed that one for "Prince."
I forgot to post the last total: $13,297.70

For an overall total of $61,691.70
But that didn't include "Prince!"

I wonder why they had two of Sweet Scoops.

I wonder if they had two or if the previous high bidder flaked. I feel like there were some bid abuses that wound the seller up in the first round of bidding, so maybe that's what happened.
