For me, it's the Earth ponies I remember from when I was a kid and thought were kind of common, maybe because a good chunk of my cousins/friends also had them. Now I'd love to have them in my herd: Lickety Split, Surprise, Bowtie, Blossom, Sun Light. Thanks to Basic Fun I can snag a few of those and the others I'm on the hunt for. It's interesting because now I want them as before it was a case of "if I get them".

Indiana Jones toys because they never showed up in my area.
VHS tapes of both Ewok movies
Those 80s movie magazines, see the movie and buy the tie in the magazine.
The 90s Disney Store snowglobes

There was this big tree/green alien looking monster with red eyes and I received it one Christmas (85-ish). It was 12 inches plus, ugly but I loved it.

Watched the trailer for the first time in a theatre, one with the comfy seats and wrap around sound. I could hear! There were moments that yes with the music enhanced the scenes.

Just a few which makes me worried it simply cannot carry the film on those alone. Now I'm so confused, are the animals talking or are the voices voiced over. One would be an interesting nod to something the original film almost had. Which is no dialogue or limited voice overs.

I only want Mimic because I had the chance to buy her. When I was a kid and had the “you can only pick one” Which has driven most of my collecting. Recreating my childhood herd and the ones that got away.

Clickbait articles that play to “if you have/find this toy
you will or could be rich” it gives folks the wrong impression and annoys me.

Cool! I’ve seen the other episodes and  enjoyed them. It’s of info
to cram into the time allotted just a FYI. So there are things about
the original line that will be skipped. Next to nothing of the modern lines
but that’s the same for the other episodes.

I love how they don’t take the matter too seriously, a bit of tongue and
cheek. A dash of yes we’re tapping the 80s nostalgia craze.

Sadly, never found her back in the day and I still want her.

I find it amusing to watch the tidal shift in merchandise from when these films (animated) original debuted in the 90s. Now, most of the vector art being used was used back then for kids clothes and hardly ever did it feature for anyone above the age of 12. Now? All over the place and I love it.

As a teenager in the 90s, I had to make basically my own iron-on transfers to get the shirts I wanted and was teased something awful for it. Who's laughing now? Thought so.

Yum Yum!  Because I got the birthday set for my birthday the year it was
released. Honestly she wasn’t my favorite but she was part of the set, didn’t like
her coloring, odd because I’m all about color. I remember my BFF had Rosedust
and to avoid mix ups I didn’t have her. But oh how I wanted her cause roses are
one of my favorite flowers. I never found Morning Glory in the wild and that’s my favorite flower. Hopefully they get re issued.

It’s fun reading everyone’s stories.

I'll be there for the soundtrack but it still looks "meh", if Disney wanted to do live action how about Treasure Planet or Atlantis. I get why they're picking the ones they are which are very popular but frankly one can only catch lightning in a jar once. To rework what's arguably one of the best animated films of all time seems a cash grab and degrades the original work.

They better be careful or they'll shoot themselves in the foot and they'll only have themselves to blame.

She’s new to me and I wouldn’t pass her up.

Having a discussion with a cashier about how great it is to see Disney's recent offerings of characters of color. That our kids and little cousins can finally see themselves in the merchandise. I love meeting fellow Disney fans.

Worst was when someone snagged a mug right out of my shopping car. I'd turned around to grab a book but I was standing right next to my cart! After that, I started using a basket or bringing my own reusable bag.
