I have a (possibly silly) question - is there a good line for putting something in the doll forum versus the toy forum? I feel like there are a lot of toys that could be both (like plush dolls, or action figures). Just wondering because I was just going to put a photo of a figure in the Doll Waiting Room thread and then wondered if it was the right place.

Anything which is a doll will go into the dollhouse...anything which is not doll and not pony will go in the Toy Box. Most action figures will likely be in the Toy Box.

I was thinking of things like SideShow/ThreeZero/Hot Toys figures - 12 or 16 inches, removable clothing and shoes - they're the same size as fashion dolls, and aside from the marketing they're much more similar to fashion dolls than they are the plastic figures you see in the action figure toy aisle. I feel like the only reason they're not labelled as dolls is because of who they're being marketed to and not because they're actually a different category of toy, you know?I consider those kinds of figures to be dolls when I'm talking about my own collection, but I didn't want to step on any toes.
