Look, I know this is kind of a tight-knit community but I'm very shy to put it mildly and all these signatures saying "Do you have any of these, Kittywhiskers?" and "Do you know why this pony is so expensive, Kittywhiskers?" and "I know where you live, Kittywhiskers!" have been kind of freaking me out for a while now.

This has got to stop.

Normally I can tell. I don't know why it is that I didn't figure it out in this case.

Even though i know its a code and everyone sees their own name out still freaks me out most of the time. I have a mental illness and part of it is this paranoia that electronics will talk to me so whenever i see my name in a sig or post i have to tell myself its the code and not some sentient computer.

Yep it's just a code. lol if it makes you feel better I find it extremely annoying.

Yeah I mean? It doesn't bother me too bad but sometimes I wonder if people who have trouble with things like delusions or paranoia
could be severely affected by seeing those kinds of sigs.
Maybe it would be wise and kind to put "don't worry, this is just code" in there somewhere too? Just in case.
