And more emphasis on the TOY line. Less on the animation. I didn't grow up needing to be told how to characterise my ponies by a cartoon. I saw very little MLP animation as a kid and I don't care that that was the case. Although I loved the comics, I never played any games in which my ponies acted out comic stories. Every time I see someone whine about 'show accurate' this or that it makes me cringe inside. With MLP, animation should match toys, not the other way around. Toy accurate animation is better than show accurate toys.
So much agreement! Right now it feels like the toys are an afterthought.
My wishlist:
-New characters, and lots of them. That was what made G1 and G3 so exciting! I loved (and still love) oohing and ahhing over all the different characters and designs.
-Less slice-of-life, more high fantasy. In my perfect vision of MLP, every episode would be like Rescue at Midnight Castle. *o*
-Larger scale for the main toyline.
