Who makes the best rooting needles?

I've always made my own rooting needles.  For the most part I'm happy with them, but I know several places sell them and have always wondered if they are smoother or in some way better than my homemade ones.  Have you bought rooting needles somewhere that were particularly good?  Are they all just regular needles with the eye snipped open, or do some places sell ones that are manufactured AS rooting needles?  Thanks for any info!

Sorry, I can't help. I got mine from an Arena member who isn't around anymore. She made hers herself too.

I know that you have to sand down the cut edges, and the better sanded they are, the better the needle is.

As far as a know all re-rooting needles are a needle with the eye snipped in half. I make my own and sand any rough edges. I remember someone used to grind her snipped needles with a Dremel.

Thanks for your responses!  Sorry I neglected to answer at the time but I did read them! 
I decided to try ordering some recently since I ended up having to order some hair (Shimmerlocks).  They were indeed snipped and smoothed needles like I make for myself.  They worked well, were nice and smooth.  They seemed to have a really short "hair slot" but they held a "plug" of hair okay so I can't complain!  I don't know if I will buy more or continue to make my own in the future, I have no strong feelings either way.

I used gauge 24 embroidery needles. the eye is a good size (I've used it on g1-g4), and they are sturdier than regular needles
