Twice in the past few years I sold a pony I actually needed but assumed I didn’t. Finally bought a replacement to one at this PFF. Annoyingly that was part of a G2 set, and the other one would have meant I’d have all the G1 princesses complete by now. I do regret giving one of my childhood ones to my cousin when we were kids, and I’m always on the lookout for her on sale. She had a unique bit of damage and I hope one day that means she’ll return.

It’s been years since the topic came up (so long ago it must be the in archives on the older forum) but I recall the general consensus was the raincurl one was never actually produced. I have the carousel one on our bedroom wall right now, and have a few more Rix tins items myself. I do love them. If anyone ever saw the raincurl one irl, I’d love to know! <3

Yeah, as someone who collected for decades, then witnessed the Brony convention boom started out here in NYC and slide off, there’s no money in conventions. We have dear friends who went too far in and are still healing financially. I also recommend starting with meets. I’d love more local ones again, especially with more collectors!

Yeah I’m basing this on the fact that while I’m always looking in Claire’s hunting for pony stuff, I rarely got to find it in the H&M’s in my area. In fact my “home“ mall for many years didn’t even have a kid section in their H&M! But I do have metal… Are these called banana clips or alligator clips? Like this style from H&M. But not stylized the same way, if I’m making any sense. Where the entire clip is encapsulated in the design, whereas most of the ones I’ve seen from Claire’s have a little plastic pony on the end with a hanging tail or such.

I haven’t seen these before, but I feel like they may have been some of the merch found in H&M and not the ones sent to Claire’s. But both are good places to start. <3

They’re the time of box I usually keep, where you can pop out the pony and brush her and handle her, then pop them back in and keep them on display. I’m an opener, and I love styling them. But there are some (the Core 7 anniversary ones, the art ponies, etc) that you can just let stay in box on display but take them in and out neatly.
The only one I haven’t is the SDCC Majesty because it doesn’t seem like I can, the way the back curves is odd, I can’t explain it right now but might try later.

Hello everyone! I am looking for the Equestria girls stage, either mint in box or complete in box. I do intend to open it but I wanna have all the little accessories. I’m also looking for the “American” version of the box which has a little round sticker that claims it’s a Kmart exclusive. I highly doubt there’s any other difference, it’s just Kmarts are almost out of business here and I would like to have it as a memento. https://data.mlpmerch.com/equestria-girls/set/rainbow-rocks/mane-event-stage-playset/

Hello everyone! The following items have been traveling with us to various meets, conventions, and flea markets for years now and might have the odd ding or scratch. If condition is important to you and you want a full cataloging of all the minor issues, please let me know and I'll gladly go into detail in the PM and even provide more pics! <3 I've embedded thumbnail views so clicking them should pop them out but its been literal years since I sold on the boards so forgive any clunkiness! Does the board’s servers not allow for uploading directly without external hosting? I’m part of another board that does and I didn’t realize the Arena didn’t yet (and I completely understand if this is cost prohibitive or something, I just thought it had finally been folded into standard tech these years!)

This is crazy, I laid eyes on her for the first time in a hallmark this past weekend. I looked at the display model and I told my fiancé “oh her hind leg’s a little wonky, this is probably the one they chose for display because she was too wonky to sell!“ After reading this thread I think it’s the opposite, they chose her because she was the least wonky because her leg hadn’t completely cracked off yet!

While I haven’t seen those in a while, I’m letting you know that my fiancé and I favorite “hack“ when it comes to releases we missed is overstock stores. I’m pretty sure we bought our version of this in a big lots. You might be 2 to 3 years out of date with the current timeline, but I really suggest you look in places like that. Big lots, Ollies if you have them heck at one point we found a bunch in Ross Dress for Less, Marshall’s, Kohls, anything that purchases overstock items and sells them at a discount. I’ll keep an eye out for this for you though, but I can’t tell you when the last time I saw it was.

Thank you, but it was one of those late night deep dives trying to find a single thing I remembered from years ago. also I’m always on Twitter and definitely see you post there from time to time. <3 I still live and collect, I just rarely get to forums anymore.

Hi guys! I’m trying to check out some things on the pre-2012 section and it keeps prompting me to log in, which I do (even tried my old screen name though I’m pretty certain I changed it before the switch). I’m on a mobile device if it helps. <3

Hey everyone! I figured I’d leave this here because I figured customizers would have a better knowledge of the answer, but I’m totally OK if the mods need to move it/think I can find that answer on a different section.
When I open my ponies to clean out any rust or other yuckies, I of course cut the glue around the neck. But I have a handful where the neck plug broke off from the head it completely. I would ideally like to fix this in a way where myself or a future owner down the road could still take the head off instead of just permanently gluing everything back together. Any advice? I tried using something called Sugru which is a silicone putty, and that works for making hooks on your wall or other type of repairs as shown on their website, but it did not bond directly to the pony body. Has anyone experimented with say, rubber cement, or one of the flex tape adhesives or anything else that I should try?
