Whizzer pose is 1985: checked. 

I'm pretty sure my Peach Blossom and Forget-me-not flutters were also stamped 1985. But perhaps I got that confused with 1986: small print and all. I will check.

The Mommy of the surprise twins is stamped 1994 HASBRO INTL INC - this is courtesy of ZuluSeashell, who has her. Interestingly (to me at least) there is not country of manufacture.

Because I'm an idiot and edited it badly, that's all xD Thanks. The weird thing with those is that I think the bodies are the same for the brothers but the heads aren't...I'm assuming Paws etc have 1987 in spite of that...

@NightGlider - I remember Surprise Twins mama being Hasbro Int'l, I didn't realise she didn't have a manufacture country. Interesting...my sister's pony is in storage so even when I go home I can't check her, but I may need to peer at her card. I have a photo somewhere...

Just to clarify, since there are lingering (?)s: both Pony Bride and Bridal Beauty are marked '89, and the eyelash princesses are '91 like the Colorswirls. (because..... reasons?)

Okay. Yeah, that was a kind of (?!) on my list, but obviously there's some difference between the poses. I wonder what it is. I don't have a bride pony...my sister's ponies are in storage...but I may have one in my trade box and when I go home, I may have to do a comparison to see if I can figure out what they changed...

Interesting! I have one photo of my sister's in a similar position to show the mechanism and as you say, she also has no manufacture country (I checked to make sure that they were all like this, and we hadn't discovered another variant or something xD).

I also dug out her card from my backcard pictures and it says she's made in China. Interestingly enough her card is also dated 1993 not 1994.

I had a chance to up-end my Peek-a-boo Baby Noddins, and she's marked 1987.

As far as the bride pose goes, the only difference I can see (from my own individuals on hand) is that the 91s have ever-so-slightly wider necks. Their head mold overhangs their body at the join, whereas the 89/brides' necks are a bit smaller than their body. I guess that makes sense for the eyelash princesses, since they might need that extra 2mm of maneuverability to root the lashes, but I don't know why they would use continue to use the wider-necked mold for the Colorswirls but not for Bridal Beauty.

For the Playtime Baby Brothers, Countdown and Waddles are stamped 88 and Racer, Leaper, Paws and Drummer are stamped 87.
