Best modern day representation of my 3 year old self

While searching for a video game trailer on youtube, I happened to come across this video of a 3 year old girl and her dad, shopping in what appears to be the pony section of a K-Mart toy aisle.

I have no idea if this video is well-known or not but it certainly brought a smile to my face. This little girl is so cute and funny. I remember being the exact same way with my parents when it came to ponies, unfortunately I never won the argument and got any :p

Stamping feet? Emotional blackmail? Tears and demanding things "now"? Never mind 2 years old, this is me at 32 years old in the toy aisle.

I think Hasbro over the last 3 decades have successfully cemented MLP as a mainstay in the toy aisle - they are an easy choice for parents and a desirable item for little girls. MLP continues to be successful because it so successfully still appeals to those main markets that are the bulk of their sales - little girls [and boys] and their money wielding parents/relatives.

Cute video but an example of why I would be a terrible parent - I would have caved at the first "please".

I think my boyfriend would argue that this little girl and I share the same lines. I've on more than one occasion uttered the "If you don't buy this for me I won't love you anymore" bit (jokingly, of course) to him. xD This little girl is so cute. I am in love with her little curls. :3

That is so cute I remember running to the toy isle and looking at all the ponies. I was the same way that I wanted more.

She's so cute! At least she says please and uses intelligence and blackmail to try and get what she wants instead of screaming the place down and ruining the toy shop for a ton of other kids and parents!

She is adorable. I love how the dad mentions she has 13 or 14 already and she doesn't need anymore. Well how many Star wars guys did he own as a kid? I mean to him each pony is just a pony but if you think about it, she is looking at how they are different from what she already owns. She mentions the horns, and I bet if he would of bought it she would of made them the parents in her herd! Awww! A family of pony in her sweet little pony loving heart. It may be this moment here that makes her want to collect ponies down the road because she never got the ones she asked for but had to play with them if she is lucky and perhaps a friend of hers has them and others she doesn't get to own. Scoffs at dad, 13 or 14...don't come to my house then ha ha!!

Lol! My mom never let us get anything when we were at the store, but my grandpa, oh boy, I never needed any blackmail. Smart kid, though, for three years old. And yeah, at least she isn't having a screaming meltdown.
