Brightly coloured ponies?
« on: January 05, 2013, 07:31:47 AM »
Hello, just a quick question!

I recently saw (and totally fell in  with) the Dutch Diary pony, such a bright, vivid, brilliant blue!  It got me to wondering, besides the neon ponies of the late eighties , have there been any other really brightly coloured G1 ponies, like a red or a kelly-green, or a really bright yellow?  And while I'm at it, how does their colouration hold up over time?

Pics welcome and encouraged, and thanks! ^.^

Wishlist - I'm back on (semi-) active buying again... can't buy everything on my wish list all at once (yay, back-to-school and tuition fees), but I am still looking to plump up my collection a bit more: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,380638.0.html

The Rock'n Beat ponies are brightly coloured. Argentina has some very intensely coloured ponies, too. The green Rock'n beat pony from Argentina is such an intense green, it sticks out like a sore thumb in my collection. I think the ponies colours do stay rather well over time.

I cant think of too many others other than those named above - the tropicals being the most obvious.

Baby Sunset is a really bright pink though and Gypsy with her hair is very bright as well.

I needed to wear sunglasses to look at my tropical babies. (Part of the reason why I don't have them anymore - Just not a fan of neon colours on toys.)
