US only G1 ponies??

(Forgive me if this has been asked in a previous thread, I was unable to find anything searching.)

Is there an actual list somewhere of G1's that were ONLY released in the US?

I believe the original first set of Unicorn's and Pegasus ponies were not sold in the UK - or at least that is what I remember Taffeta telling me. She also has detailed info on her website. I know there are many Nirvana's that are "similar" to US ponies, so it would be interesting to know which ponies are exclusive to the US.

Ok here we go...I should note that my list was pretty much focused on ponies which didnt make it to the UK rather than ponies which were only out in the US - so for example there are some ponies, such as HK Moondancer, who didnt make it to the UK but her Italian version was sold in other parts of Euro or Baby Moondancer who didnt get to the UK but was sold in Germany and some surrounding countries. I have removed ponies like this from the list.

I have tried only to list the ponies which, as you mentioned, only got a US release and that had no minor "variant" outside the United States [i.e. like the Pretty & Pearly who had their heads in a different position in the US release but were fundamentally the same pony].

The other issue is some of the "excess" stock that we got in the UK towards the end of the US line which saw us getting ponies like some of the Slumber Party pack and Tux in random packaging in order to obviously clear stock - so as technically they were released outside the US and I have not included them here either.

Apologies in advance for anyone I should have removed from this list...

No bother! Hopefully someone will correct me if I have missed anyone out or included someone I shouldnt but I think it covers most bases!

I think because the collecting community and ebay are so global its easy to forget that there are some ponies which are tough for non US peeps to actually get sometimes...I know tracking down the US version of Gusty for me was really tough...I came across many more of the Movie Stars version!
