I'm so excited for everything that was revealed in the past week! I think DJ Pon-3 looks...odd though? Not quite right. Maybe the hairstyle doesn't translate.
Very excited that the large set is fashion styles. I don't know why, but I love the way the fashion styles feel.

Geez, we got the second re release of the first set stuck in Myer for at least a full year and nobody is buying them (because they're like $80-$90 a box) so idk how well they'd do if they arrive in Aus.

Also it seems like Luna only has 1 hair colour and Cadence's eyes are a big miss along with her crown, is there a hole in her head? I doubt I'll get it but if I do, it'd be for those two (maybe Celestia as well) and I'd yeet the rest to the kid I babysit.

I wouldn't mind buying a brushable Celestia, Luna, and Cadence, but, you know... separately, 3 inch, not with the rest of the Mane6?

Went to Smyths today with kiddo, her first "proper" trip to the shops since March!

We ended up getting her Fluttershy Potion dressups, the staff were actually filling the shelves with newly opened deliveries so we got the first out of a fresh lot!

Conclusion:
a very rectangular body, a loooong neck and huge feline head.

Her shell necklace is pink/lilac, not blue as per photo.

The mystery potion bottle accessory is lovely, at first I thought it was a green snake curled around the aqua vessel but it is supposed to be a mermaid tail!

I think I can see myself attempting to make some custom potion bottles as extra props, not sure how, maybe adding acrylic necks to glass marbles... 

Anyway, my kid likes her!

I don’t quite get the heads either. It’s definitely looking like they’re trying to appeal to anime fans with the chibi style. And young people, obviously. But I just... It’s so far away from their previous designs, I’m having a hard time getting used to them!

I do really like the fur on the legs around the hoofs, that’s cute.

I feel like I’m not the only one to ask this, but what happened to g5? This is like g3.5 in that I’m not sure what’s going on
