Ponies you reeeaallly wanted but didn't have as a kid

And i really loved Flutters!

Thats the only pony I remember wanting....I did get a flutter eventually in Honeysuckle who gives me lovely happy memories whenever I think of her but because I was OBSESSED with MLP The Movie [I made my dad hire it from the video store every time I was allowed to pick a film...unfortunately buying a VHS back in the mid 80s was outside our budget so I think I wore the video stores version to death instead!] I really really wanted Rosedust....

Baby Leaper! He's the reason I started collecting ponies. I discovered eBay and wondered if I could find him. Well, I found him and much, much more! The rest is pony collecting history!

I really wanted Sugarberry because my best friend had her.  I really wanted the Stable too because my memaw had it at her house for all the kids to play with.  I also really wanted the MLP Movie because my mom bought it for me but then the tape messed up so she took it back to the store.  But now I have all 3--yay!

I really wanted a unicorn and a So Soft thought I didn't know that's what they were called. I just liked my cousin's fuzzy ponies.

Actually, me and my sister had a pretty huge herd of ponies, i can't remember any i wanted and did not have.
We sometimes traded ponies. I traded with everyone who had ponies i liked, often the regret came later.. :\

I always wanted ChaCha and the big brother ponies, specifically Tex. I recently got ChaCha from an arena member, but I'm still waiting for the perfect opportunity to get a big bro pony.

I was pretty happy with my childhood herd of G2s, but I was a little jealous of my best friend's Silver Swirl. The only unicorn I knew of in the line, & I didn't have her!  D:
I remember watching G1 videos & wondering why none of the characters were available as toys. Little did I know...    Surprise was one of the first ponies I bought as an adult collector, because I loved her so much in the show as a kid.

The pony that I wanted absolutely most of all, and still don't have was Starglow! I wanted her SO BAD for Christmas one year, but my family got mad when she was the only thing on my Christmas list. So my cousin helped me add things to the list and no one ended up getting Star Glow. TRAGEDY! SHE WILL ONE DAY BE MINE!

I wanted Lofty SOOOOO BAD! All yellow pegas where my favorites, and by them Lofty was the most beautiful of them all! And she was also the best flyer in ponyland!
