congrats on the wedding ! and I hope you get as much MLP in your wedding as I did :) I had pics of satin & tux , cadence & shining plus a pic of majesty and spike ,I had love is in bloom to walk back down the isle after the vows, flower table arrangements that included a g1 MLP and named the tables after, had mine and my hubby's ponysonas on the top table and the top tier of wedding cake and we were dressed in our ponysonas colours, also my brides maids were dressed as their fave ponies :) also had our ponysonas colours for the ribbons on the wedding cars :)
hope this gives you a bit of inspo :D

Thanks!  ^.^ I have thought about ending the night with Love is in Bloom playing, though I might chicken out. And I am debating on putting ponies on tables, but I feel like the kids are going to mess with them. I should incorporate our ponysonas somewhere, though!

Your wedding pics look great!

No problem. The G2 comics can get weird, and this one is really one of the less wacky :P
Here's a translated one from one of the French issues. (Baby Fleur is a he in the comics!)
Original title: Princesse Flora se marier
Issue: Magazine no. 5

Thanks!

In the Satin 'n Lace pamphlet it's mentioned that the Collector ponies and Birthflower ponies are guests at her wedding.  (You know--so you have to buy them all, ha ha.)  Probably doesn't quite count as "wedding ponies" but still fun.  This was the early pamphlet so although she had plenty of guests, she had no groom.
It's always interesting to me the way the spouse-to-be is totally incidental in wedding toys aimed at really young girls. When you're young the appeal is more about having a cool party and cake and everyone congratulating you.

I have a good handful of the Collector ponies but not any of the Birthflower (hoping to buy them all at once one day!). But of course I always had to buy them all  :silly:
That is a good point!

All that said, the large cadence figure sings about her marriage but there isn't a large Shining Armour to go with her I don't think? (Maybe she can marry Chrysalis? Hrmm)

I can almost guarantee there is fanfiction for that that I'm sure I don't want to look up.  ^^;

And I'm not sure if you would count this as a wedding theme?
Their symbols are wedding rings :)

For completion...yes!

Thanks for the scans! It was a cute read. Although now I'm concerned for Sweet Berry, lol...

I've never visited your website before but I definitely need to have a look through those sometime!

I guess they sound more like Vin Diesel now, after all these years...?

My Sweet Talkin' pony still sounds pristine so maybe those would, too? Although, that would be hilarious!

There's a bit of G2 media in this theme too:
There's some bits and pieces in the French comics too, but I'm not sure in which numbers, but I can take a look.

Thanks, added!
I have one G2 annual but I do hope to get my hands on some more of their books. They are just so cute!

Ooh, I don't know if this counts, but in Escape from Catrina's dressed like a dream song montage, someone is dressed as a bride with the bushwoolies as bridesmaids? (Something Old Something New).
The whole montage is promoting ponywear, but I'm pretty sure that's part of it.

Gotta have ads in our ads after all!  :silly: I'll count it!

Heart Throb was the one dressed in Something Old, Something New :)
Proudfoot is so pretty omg!! I wish they'd made a toy of him, ohhh... he's so dapper!

Nice! He is!

Congratulations! Wishing you all the best.

Thanks!  :good:

Congratulations :)

I had no idea there were so many G2 brides! :O Wow, someone on the design team really liked that theme, haha.

Thanks!

I didn't either! I know the least about G2 so I had no idea what would be there at all when I started the list. My Little Wiki was so helpful with that!

Thanks so much! I made a note of each of those to the list.

Congratulations on your wedding!

Not sure which issue that is from.

Here's Confetti's backcard story, though, where she was depicted as a bride herself.

Bridal Beauty and Pony Bride were sold universally but I do remember both ponies being in the UK comic. The Bridal Beauty one is very late on.

My site notes don't include the issue # but it's one of the stories with the MLP Tales ponies, as she's buying wedding supplies apparently from Sweetheart's family shop.

Thank you for the congratulations

I found the two comic issues, #20 and #213. I actually had #20, I just didn't think to check it with that title! I'm so glad Heck Yeah, Pony Scans! exists, so I could find the #213 story.

Here's the US pamphlet with Lucky. :)

This one says he's a member of the wedding party, but another pamphlet does not.

I vaguely remembered Lucky had something to do with the wedding, but I forgot to add him to the list in the end. Added now! It's amazing how much additional info those pamphlets have.

Pony Corral / Brides and Weddings in My Little Pony

I’m finally getting married in October! So out of curiosity I wanted to make a sort of list of any wedding/bride references in My Little Pony. (Maybe I’ll subject my wedding guests to it! :p) All of the info is from My Little Wiki, MLP Merch, or the G4 wiki.

Some of the things that surprised me while working on the list is
•   how several of the G1 ponies had wedding themes outside of North America who did not inside North America
•   how G2 seemingly had a wedding themed playset/pony for just about every year
•   how G3 had one at all

G4 I remember having many episodes featuring weddings, so I would say it has the most media references, but I could be missing a lot of wedding related media from previous generations. I am!

And now it’s G5’s turn to keep the tradition going!

If you know of any that I missed, let me know! Otherwise, I thought it was neat enough to share just for anyone's reference. Think I can work what ones I have into the wedding decor?  :silly:

•   Baby Bridesmaid - 1990 UK Activity Club theme

Bow Tie ties a red ribbon on the needle Seamus is supposed to find in the haystack so that he can find it and marry Bella instead.

On the "Club Page" next to a picture of Confetti in the outfit, it is revealed that Confetti's birthday is in June, and if you completed the puzzle to find the exact date and entered it, you could win the Wedding Bells outfit set.

Does anyone play Among Us?  I'm reading an alternate universe fanfiction for one of my favorite animes set in the Among Us world and it's interesting enough that I looked up the game.  I'm not sure if it's something I want to play though.

I've played it before a year or so ago when it was everywhere. You just go around trying not to die or killing everyone, depending on if you are an imposter or not. It's more fun with friends so you can chat and laugh and manipulate each other on the votes. I like watching YouTubers play it, but I only ever had my fiance and sister to play it with and we got tired of it after a few times. There's a bit of strategy to it, I guess. The crew are supposed to do tasks but I feel like the focus is always on to kill or be killed.

Have you tried posting this on Reddit? Maybe one of the tip of my tongue or nostalgia threads could help? Do you remember any names or locations?

I have someone I buy a lot of stuff from over time and she usually just ships once she has a box full and I pay her as we go, making sure whatever is being shipped has been paid for.

I would think if you do a PayPal invoice, the buyer could use PayPal credit and then you have your money and they have six months to pay with no interest. And even if you don't do an invoice, for a small fee they could still use PayPal credit. There is also a Pay in 4 option which I've only ever used once but would probably also work for them.

Moreso yesterday, but I got my tax return done and filed! No real refund, though, but I'm just glad to get it done so early.

And after the longest time getting ghosted on card sales, I had three sales and a potential fourth sale all within a week!

I keep some of my special flower petals in sealed jars and boxes. I have a few full flowers for the look but petals only is so much easier.

I have pony packages from a friend that are trapped in the UK thanks to the Royal Mail issues and a third package from the UK that was sent to the wrong address (most likely entered wrong by the Royal Mail; it wouldn't have been wrong on my or the seller's side as this was one of two and the other came in just fine) and is presumably going back to the UK before coming back to me.

I went to and contacted the post office multiple times for the latter one but that was the only update I got. The tracking hasn't updated since around Christmas from the attempted delivery, so I don't know if it really is on its way back to the UK, or where it ended up in all this mess. It's partially my fault for not checking with them immediately, but I was caught up in the holidays.  :(

I keep thinking my package is going to get sold off with unclaimed mail and end up in someone's haul opening video. -_- But I want to believe it will be fine and come back to me.

I didn’t add much to my collection in 2022, but most notable for me were:

Finishing my G1 US collection (last few ponies in the mail)

That is so cool! I'm aiming on getting close to a complete US G1 set, but I'm so far away.

Proudest achievement was getting the 67 G4 single brushables in the original packaging completed!
Oh my gosh, that must be so cool!
I would want to line them all up and admire them  :enthralled:

It is! They are hard to photograph together but I made a post somewhere on here (https://mlparena.com/index.php?topic=404002) and the Trading Post (https://www.mlptp.net/index.php?threads/g4-brushable-singles-set-of-67-complete.118590/) with what pictures I could take. I thought it took me a year and a half, but it was closer to three years from the very, very first, just a year and a half actively collecting the set. I don't have the room to properly display them all but thankfully they all fit in one large box!
