A few Restorations :3

So I got a lot of bait ponies in yesterday, but I was looking at them and was like "Most of these can be fixed..." so I decided to restore them :3 Some were in pretty rough shape too. Here they are:

First off is Pretty Vision... the most simple restoration I had, all she needed was a good wash and brush and she's back to perfect :3

Next up is Bouquet, she needed a little more work, but still pretty simple. Someone had tied a rubber band into her mane up near the top and it had been left in there for YEARS, as it was disintegrated and gooey and gross and stuck to the hair. A good brushing, wash and some TLC and she's gorgeous again (she's also for sale as I already have one):

Next up are my poor so softs... they really needed some TLC. Some of them still have little bits of flocking stuck to them like Ribbon, so I'll continue working at those ones a bit to try and remove the rest of the flocking

Poor Ribbon has a tail cut, her flocking was worn down to practically nothing in several spots and her hair was all dried out and terrible... but with some TLC she now has soft hair, the tail looks a little longer now that it's brushed out, and she's been deflocked :3

Then we have poor Twist, she was a mess, brown spots on her flocking, flocking worn off, and a rubber band that had disintegrated into her tail and was a gooey sticky mess, it was disgusting... she's been cleaned up, washed and deflocked.

And last but certainly not least, Gusty... when I saw this poor girl I was terrified she would have cancer. The brown spots all over her body did not look like they were in the flocking, it looked like it was showing through the flocking. Her flocking was damaged and so dirty and gross and yellow that I decided to deflock her, worried that she would have cancer and wanting to know for sure... but she was cancer free! so here she is all deflocked and gorgeous.

the so softs were all ones I've been looking for and wanting, and finding the flocking horrible condition was a bonus for me, because I prefer them deflocked :3

They look great - congrats - the hair taming on the B&Gs is seriously impressive!

thanks! :3 yeah they were such a disaster when I got them, I didn't think I'd be able to save it, but it only took about 20 minutes of brushing :3

Great job! How did you deflock? I'm still trying to pin down a specific method! Lol

I use acetone, soap and water, and rubbing alcohol
