Question! Are there any ponies you do not like? Or would not want to get rehaired?

I have just 2 faves from Generation 1, so there are a lot of ponies I don't like or better I don't collect

I have never tried to rehair a pony with a mechanism like brush'n grow, so I don't want to try this :-)

And yeah, got my partner too :-)

I have lots of favorites and collect all but bbe's and the ones with the weird tails. bbe's creep me out....way out!

I was also going to ask about that, I think that a BBE baby with some new hair might be really cute, that being said... I'm not really fond of any of the BBE poses except for Baby Gusty... Since this is a G1 focus... I still feel I want to mention I dislike G3.5s, for anything - but as far as G1 ponies go... I am not really a big fan of Soft Sleepy Newborns (LOL like you'd rehair a beast like that for this swap though!) and the Secret Surprise Ponies I don't want rehaired unless they actually have their saddle case...

Mechanism ponies - such as DnP, BnG... If you rehair them I want them to work. This also applies to PeekaBoo babies. The one except ion is the DnW babies - once that tube comes out I'm not sure there's any way to really truly reattach it, so I'm not worried about that.

My favorite ponies are Unicorns and I'd die for a Gusty... so... *hinthint*

I want to ask - Many baits I get are just that - BAITS. They may have already had something done to them, specifically their neck seam ripped completely off. If the glue job is nice, and not messy, tacky or obvious, would you be opposed to a pony who has had to have their head glued on?
^ As long as it doesn't look messy and glue-y, that's perfectly fine with me.


Also, I do have some baits that I can offer up:
-Rainbow Skydancer
-DnW Baby Cuddles? (It's the pink one with the duck and the umbrella)
-Lily Flutter pony (neck seam is ripped, head will have to be glued back on)

I am going to be putting in a hair order but, if anyone has some Atomic Turquoise, Mermaid or Virgin Snow that they'd sell or trade, please let me know... those I could use ahead of the DH shipping schedule, lol

I am not really a fan of Drink n' Wet or BBE poses. Overall, I prefer adult ponies over babies.

How do you feel about Sweetheart Sister ponies? Do you mind if their earring is missing/replaced by something else?

They are not my favorites but I do not dislike them. Original earrings are not important for a re-hair.

SHS Ponies - if you put something cute in their ear instead, that would be awesome! I like them, they have a lot of potential for nice color choices.

I love shs!! Broken earrings are ok, but not totally missing ones. I know there is a member here who makes repro ones...

I think I've already chosen one pony for my partner. It's an unusual choice, but I love the color ideas it gives me, and she's in nice shape other than her hair so... I think I'm gonna take a risk and rehair her for my partner...

Drink n Wet, BBE, Dance n Prance, Happy Tails, any of those kinds of ponies I'm not all that interested in.

They're not my favorite. If the earring is missing, it can be replaced with something else. If broken I'd want it fixed to where it didn't look like it had been broken, if that makes sense. Like sand the bottom of it or something.

Yay!! Got my partner!! I'm not a fan of bbe's either, shs are fine, and as long as any damage is not noticeable, that's ok too I musta had a 6th sense, cause some ideas I was toying with totally fit my partner!!

I am not interested in BBEs, Drink n Wet babies, and any pony with a tail mechanism/long hair. While I love me some Happy Tails, I just don't think they're quite doable for this type of a swap.

I think they're great pose-wise. I would welcome a replacement earring or something similar.

They don't have to work so long as they're presentable. Magic Message symbols can be repainted if necessary.

HT, DnP, BnG... yes, I want these to work... there's ways to have them still work, I KNOW there has to be, lol...
MM, DnW... those don't have to work, symbol wise but, I'd rather not get a MM rehair with a totally rubbed symbol...

for me, no. I don't play with my ponies apart from their hair has anyone taken apart a dance and prance? I seriously do not recommend it lmao!!!

just a mint condition pony I guess.  I'm not overly fond of BBEs but I'm willing to give them new homes, LOL!

I'd prefer no mechanical ponies, unless it's the secret box ones, but on'y if they have their box top part too.  MM ponies I like and they don't have to work.  I'd be happy to get them!
