EEK! Sounds like she should have described the flaw... was it in any pictures?
Well that's sure odd...I got tracking from the seller, and when I checked on it just now it said
"Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office."
Weiiird. I'm thinking that maybe mine's been delivered since yours was and we ordered on the same day? But I'll have to wait til I get home to find out.
I got mine and it is not stained, not in that sense anyway. When I first unwrapped it seemed to have a very very very faint pink tinge to the plastic, but I couldn't really tell if that was from the hair reflecting, or seeing in through the bag, or my imagination. In different light it certainly doesn't appear pink at all. Holding it next to another white G3 I can see that the white has a slightly different tone to it, but the other pony in comparison almost seems to be yellowish. Both ponies held on their own look white though, and the TAF pony certainly reads as white when displayed alone.
I was one of the first people to order this pony from the seller, they had only sold 1 other at the time I ordered mine, so I wonder if they started by picking out the best looking ones or if it is random.
I hope they are able to find a replacement or do something for you :\
At least the seller has responded positively to your request and as a non-pony collector, sellers sometimes can have no clue of a pony's condition before it leaves their hands... apart from being MIB, that is! But you (and others) have politely enlightened her, so best of luck on receiving a pony in better condition! :)
I don't know :( still no word since sending the pony back...
Just got mine today, no pink stains phew *wipes forehead*
I'm thinking about de-bagging her though so here hair can be positioned in a way that it's not rubbing against her body so much. It's not such a huge deal to me since it's just a grubby bag and not a nice box, but I don't want to de-value her greatly either. Thoughts?
Ugg..what a stressful situation. :(
I give the seller credit for trying to resolve the issue. But since she already knew there were issues, the pony should have been gone over more throughly.
I am sure she is just as stressed over the situation but in all honestly it is her responsibility to make things right.
I have to ask you though what do you feel is going to be a satisfying outcome? Do you want to return the pony again for an exchange? Do you want to keep it and ask for perhaps a partial refund? Or return it altogether for a full refund, plus your shipping costs?
You're much nicer than I am!
They'd be getting a negative from me!
Sorry this didn't turn out more favorably. <3
